I played this game in Japanese, primarily as a means of studying, but ended up enjoying it thoroughly and 100%ing it. The backgrounds in this game are stunning, and the overall tone and setting is super relaxing. From a completion standpoint, it is possible to 100% in one playthrough, but you may need to consult an online guide to find any remaining fish / insects. There are some fish / insects the game requires you to catch 30 of. It can be a bit tedious, but I discovered that there are areas (around the house, primarily), where you can explore as much as you want without the day ending - you just have to avoid entering areas that trigger the 'time to come home' scene. As far as I know, it is possible to get all fish and insects on the last day using this method. The only completion goals I found to be a slog were the dinosaur battles. It's not a fun minigame, and often just boils down to luck. The introduction of cards is neat, but you can only select one per battle, so you end up just picking the best one - and all other cards become irrelevant. If you do play this game in Japanese, the grammar is relatively straightforward, and there is full furigana for the kanji. There are some expressions or phrases that were a bit confusing, and some characters that were a little difficult to understand, but overall it was playable for anyone at around the N3 level. Overall, I had a great time with this game, and am itching to play more 'Summer Vacation' games (in particular, the Boku no Natsuyasumi games).
