I love how Sam is sharing her personal struggles and Wilmot is just staring like a fucking idiot with a massive smirk lmao
This is just a really charming and cute little puzzle game. It's basically what it says on the tin. You build jigsaw puzzles from packages with the pieces not always coming in one package. It's a game of juggling a growing mess of pieces as you slowly figure out where everything should go, but puzzles are solved frequently enough to avoid the game becoming a disaster. I like how multiple puzzles often share similar pieces/looks, further complicating the solving process a little.
There's a lot of little pieces of flavour in the game too, like Sam the Postwoman, who has some words to share when you get a package. When you solve a puzzle, you get to frame it on a wall and slowly get to decorate your house, adding some personalization to the experience.
That being said, the game was getting repetitive towards the end. It doesn't really shake up the formula ever, resulting in a lack of surprises. It's good to kill 30-45 minutes here and there as you complete each season, but it just lacks the kind of staying power necessary to make it truly memorable.
I'd score it 7/10.
Decent recommend FFO: jigsaw puzzles, inventory challenges, and being reminded that it's ok to be an absolute dweeb

Very cozy, low stakes, cute game. There are often puzzles with somewhat similar designs so that you have to figure out which one any individual piece belongs to.

This game kept me company when I had a horrible case of Flu A that later turned into pneumonia and was snowed in and couldn't leave to see a doctor. This game has brought me so much joy that I am working on slowly completing Marathon Mode, but I will be super sad to finish it.
Thank you, Wilmot!

If the idea of spending hours making puzzles sounds appealing, this game satisfies that perfectly. The graphics, music, gameplay, and even a plot all complement that core idea without getting in the way of it.

Simply a fun enjoyable game of jig-saw like puzzles, with art that gave fun unique challenges to complete.
I like how the puzzle are delivered to you, you are left with extra pieces that are meant for the next puzzle but since its art is similar to your working puzzle, that add a bit of challenge.
I enjoyed the small narrative moments the mail delivery person added to the game, it made the experience sweet and wholesome.

Elements of Willmot's Warehouse, without the stress. Jigsaw puzzles that aren't hard because there are too many pieces, but instead hard because the game keeps subverting your expectations.

The game truly begins with new game plus, where it challenges your memory of the puzzles, much more reminiscent of Wilmot's Warehouse.
Great game, good job Wilmot

this game is so chill and fun! get puzzle game with no timers. perfect for organization, but you can get by without it as well. the music reminds me of music you would find on the wii. i'm happy i bought this. it took me about 7 hours to get through the main story. the NG+ mode looks like it will take just as long, if not more.

Lovely from start to finish, arranging those puzzles without knowing the end result sure gets endearing, with the game often tossing in pieces from other similar puzzles to trick you into thinking they're related.
Every few puzzles solved, you get rewarded with a package containing new puzzle pieces, and also an occasion to chat with (or more accurately listen to) the postwoman, Sam !
So yeah, Wilmot Works It Out is a chill (litteral) puzzle game with a nice little story going, there's also a marathon mode where you get every puzzle pieces in the game in a random order that provides a nice challenge after finishing the game.
Try it out, it's neat !
