Imo this game is a massive improvement over the first in terms of basically everything. I think it's really sad that the sequel didn't become as popular. The puzzles here are actually fun, they actually make you think and try stuff until it works. There's tons of variety and creativity too. Also some unique mechanics that only make sense in VR, or the VR perspective makes it different enough from if it weren't VR.
The world is as charming as ever. Combat is not difficult, it's usually also more of a light puzzle, which fits the game well. Devs did a great job, deserve more sales. Buy it at full price, and play it!

The protagonist Quill is very adorable, and the story is touching. Graphics is cool, feels like you are in their tiny world. I highly recommend it.

Really nice game, and for the price (bought on sale), it was a bargain. Simple platforming and combat, looks great, plays well, just a good time all round.

If you liked the original, you will definitely enjoy the squeal! It's a big step up in every way: Gameplay/puzzle mechanics, story, environments/scenery, animations, etc.

And I thought the first was a masterpiece. Continue the story of the first game. It's longer, bigger and has more weapons and puzzles.
I just hope they do a Book 3 one day

Great game! If you liked the first one, this one is even better, with new mechanics, more puzzles, and a fantastic variety of beautiful new locations. The combat can be quite fun interacting with the various enemy types and using the "reader" abilities to traverse the environment mid combat can be super fun.
My one criticism is that, as with the first game, the story is told through story book art pages with a narration. As far as I can tell, all the voice work is done by the same voice actress to fit the narration theme, but I wasn't really a huge fan of this as her imitations of different characters came off a little cheesy. Showing the story through static 2D art also doesn't feel particularly engaging. I realize full on animated cutscenes might have been out of the budget for a game like this, but I think there might have been better ways to tell the story that are more engaging visually. Perhaps using 2D art, but having it take up more of the visual real estate and having more movement and visual effects. This is hardly a deal breaker though, and if you really can't bear to sit through the narration, you can easily skip over it by flipping the pages early.

Utter delight of a game and a wonderful use of VR, easy 8.5/10, big improvement in every way over Moss Book 1. Have very little complaints. I hope after the team finish the MOBA Moss multiplayer free game that they return to a new single player IP VR game if they can.
