Extremely linear. You have to ask questions in a funny way with funny rules to keep stress and relaxation at a minimum level in order to ask those questions. When you're about to accuse somebody going all bad cop, you'll have to pause to ask if everything is fine or something to raise the meter, and proceed. The issue here is that there is no creativity for the player. You just have to figure out quite easily the right thing to press.
It's fun for an hour or two, feel free to try it. I hope this could evolve into something much more creative and fun.

This game is really fun! I finished it in a few hours, I could have finished it quicker if I didn't go for perfect scores for each case. The interrogating was more in-depth than I expected it to be. The cases are varied enough that it stays interesting. Though I doubt there will be, it would be awesome to see this game expanded on. I was impressed by it.
It's well worth the $2, and scratches that detective/investigative itch (for a couple hours at least).
