A great expansion for a great game, is rather shorter and somehow more direct that the original, but the corruption mechanic and the different choices you can take to both redeem and corrupt your squad means that you can play this game multiple times and pick different paths for your commander and his squad. Also, just a note, the achievements in this game don't unlock if you play the Chaos Rising campaign in the original game and vice versa, but if you finish both campaign in one of the games you can just load the save file that says "Complete" and you would unlock all the difficulty related achievements, so if you complete both campaigns in the Primarch difficulty in the original game, you just need to load your file in this one and and you can unlock the rest by playing the game on Recruit.

First i didnt liked it, cause i like basebuilding in RTS, so im a huge fan of DoW. I needed a lot of time to love this game. Admit, the graphics are partly horrible, but the atmosphere is realy good. when u like warhammer 40k, then i would recommend this in a sale.
