City Limits Reviews
Relax and build cities on a desolate tranquil island. Plan ahead to cover the island efficiently by combining buildings and cementing your place on a tile. Each turn an entity spreads, attempting to take over barren or unstable tiles.

Mmm..
That is a very good score-chasing minimalist city-building with a combo mechanic and interesting tiles that keep your playthroughs fresh and ever-changing. You have two gamemodes, classic, with a limited number of moves, and advanced, with more freedom to build, change and rebuild that can go infinitely if you are tactical and methodical.
Yes it is a relaxing experience, since there is no timer or time constraint, it is turn-based, but I wouldn't call the game a relaxing city-builder because, imo, it is way better described and enjoyed as puzzle, arcade and score chasing, because that is really what the game is about. Make combos, think strategicaly and get to the top of the leaderboards before you screw yourself and reach the end of the game.
Really interesting to see how a game is described on the store page, which angle is used to sell it, and how it feels to be played once you try it for yourself. You can easily change the description and try to reach an other audience with the exact same product by phrasing differently. It says "no lose state, just chill and build" and while it isn't wrong, it could also be described as "make impactful decisions, build carefuly and avoid the game over for as long as you can. Each defeat is only the beginning of a new era. Will you reach 100K points?"
Anyway, looking forward your next project dev, currently 3 very good and different games, I wish you to keep on this quality streak and I love traditional turn-based roguelikes !
