Do not buy! Game is extremely buggy, regardless of multiple patches released. Definitely not what it makes itself out to be. Such a shame, since Kalypso has quite a good reputation.

This games is really buggy and has crashed on me repeatedly. Also, no autosave feature which means if you didn't save your work on the campaign, you have to start from the beginning. I am now on my third attempt. So far, I am not impressed. This is not Master of Orion 2 or even Galactic Civilizations which are both superior games.

Selten so ein schlechtes Spiel gespielt, verlorenes Geld einfach. Weltraumschlachten sind öde bzw dauert der Flug zum Schlachtfeld alleine 2 MInuten. Ascedanc aus dem Jahr 1997 war um einiges besser. Beim Forschungstree kann man keine Warteliste erstellen. Schiffe habe auch keine Wegpunktfindung und feindliche Schiffe anzuklicken funktioniert auch nicht in der Kartenansicht. Wirtschaftsystem is auch öde, denn Gebäude die zu hohe Erhaltungskosten haben kann man auch nicht abreisen (zumind. finde ich nicht die Funktion) und so hat man bald ein Budget wie Griechenland. ... Also Finger weg von diesem Schrott.

Buggy, crashes constantly, terrible camera control, Z and Y Keys reversed, horrible tutorial and ship control, only one AI opponent in skirmishes, patches break as much as they fix, annoying voice overs in combat, terrible planet production management. Seriously, the only thing I recommend about this game is that you DO NOT BUY IT. I'm begging you, save your money, please play anything else. This is barely at Beta quality, give it a year if you try it at all. I've never so strenuously and vehemently despised a game I purchased in my entire life. Please, don't buy this game. Ugh.

My only recommendation is to NOT buy this broken game. In the state it is in it is not worth 5 dollars, and despite the developers' recent attempts to "patch" it, it will be many months before this game is even remotely playable.

This game was abandoned and left a LOT...and I mean a LOT of people stuck without a refund.
The bugs and constant crashing due to poor development killed the game and the developers simply vanished. I fought hard to get a refund and never got it.... This game was one of the main reasons I quit buying new titles until they have been out a while.

Best broken game ever! Really enjoyable. Yeah it needs tweaks to the combat system and AI. But damn good fun! Too bad the company went bust. Now it will never get fixed (game breaking bugs). Really wih someone would comb through the code and fix this :(

Novacore has now gone insolvent on their website. So this buggy travesty of a so called game will never be finished/fixed/improved. I feel truly scammed purchasing this. (for 34.99!!!) This experience along with sots2 has made sure ill never pre purchase a pc game again.
