It makes fun for 10-15min for a short multiplayer game.
The difference to the original single player one? Nothing. They just added the multiplayer, I think 1 or 2 new maps and that's it mostly.
With other words: If you only play single player and have the first game, don't buy this. If you wanna play it with some friends, buy this one.
I bought it in a bundle on sale, so the price was fine for me. I play it really rarely with some friends, that's what the game is for.

It relies on the old low-brow rule of instant satisfaction: bloody explosions and senseless violence = fun. The game's AI is sub-standard, it's got minimal content, and quite a few glitches. BUT, it's fun, addictive, and leaks naive charm.

Foreign Legion: Multi Massacre could have been a decent follow up to the original Foreign Legion: Buckets Of Blood, however the game has many flaws in its gameplay as well as terrible online play to boot, which is surprisly weird consider this game is focus on co-op and team death match. The online connection will vary, but from the little bits of playing this game online lag was noticeable. The graphics are ok with of course plenty of blood coming through your screens. I can only recommend this game when there is sale for this game but the enjoyment come from playing with your friends online, which sadly the game fails to delieve especillay if you have no friends to play as the online community for this game is a ghost house, since you can't find many people online. Even if you do mange to get a game going, you still face the many bug and glitches the game has compare to the original game (which is base on my experience). 5/10

This game is fun for the first ten minutes or so and then just gets reptitive. It feels more like a child game and nobody ever plays it to have a fun multiplayer game.

I just. Don't.
Don't buy this game. It is so strange, even flash games are better somehow.
You can have with it - it has coop. But save your money for something else.
If it would have some objectives, it could be more interesting, as the game itself is fun (zombie map is)

This game is a gem.
It's not a game that you sink many hours in, but the time you spend in it is pure joy.
You instantly notice that GRIN were not held back in their creativity and madness.
So there was no blown up marketing department to say "Oh my god, we can't do this!"
They just did ;)
Show me another game in which it's an achievement to kill hundreds of dolphins.
Ya, we're talking this level of freedom in design.
All that said - i highly recommend getting it, but for full price only if you really
want to support GRIN. But with all those sales on Steam, it's just a question of time ;)

Foreign Legion isn't as bad as some people make it appear, the game can get repetitive at times there are only a couple of game modes that traverse to just a few couple of different settings of scenery, however the importance about video games, and gameplay in this case, it's the formula, there isn't anything more important than the actual "formula" for gameplay, Mario has it, Gta has it, even Valve as a company has a very peculiar way of developing games.
Foreign Legion however, doesn't, and that's where it really fails to deliver or accomplish anything more than just beign your own personal time waster for here and there, there isn't anything that truly stand out more than the wonderful and joyful aesthetics along with the scenery in some levels (as i stated before). The game isn't a regretful purchase for myself, as a matter of fact i still play the game from time to time, but i only do it when i want to go passing by life, the game is just that, a time waster, nothing more and nothing less.

With regular lag, only three levels (one of which is just a shooting gallery), and only two gameplay modes, Foreign Legion is very much a niche game that I can't recommend. I hope that the developer continues to support the game since it does show promise in being a laid-back co-op shooter with a unique graphic style and charm, but as it stands there are better free-to-play games available. Beyond that, I feel a bit swindled since screenshots elude to vehicle combat - which simply does not exist.

I'll admit that I'm a bit biased towards this game as I'm aware that it has it's hick ups in the gameplay department, mostly do one button being assigned to a couple of actions, so sometimes when you want to hide behind cover, your character will try to melee it instead etc.
However that can be overlooked do to the game being a real delight for anyone who loves multiplayer through gameplay. I would advise to avoid any Spoilers and experience the game with a clean slate and then playing it again to sea all the foreshadowing as far as the opening titles.
If you are tired of every modern military shooter being the same old thing, Foreign Legion: Multi Massacre may provide you with a breath of fresh air.
