i like the game the OG was better but i jest got a S rank but i hit try again by Mistake it took away my S rank

this game looks worse then the wii version and the cutscenes seem to be ai upscaled and the only way to really fix it is to install a 21 gb mod yeah no thanks im just going to emulate the wii version on dolphin

ngl its not just that the remaster is bad, the game itself is not that good

Leaving a negative review for the base game and no modding, however with a sale and Project Re-Rainbow this becomes a pretty good way to experience Sonic Colors. Still a fairly average Sonic game at the end of the day.

I played this game using Project Re-Rainbow, Wii Stage Layouts, Gameplay & UI Fixes, and Substantial Acts Only, which will color my opinion here, but this is a decent way to play Sonic Colors outside of the Wii. Mods save this game, but not everyone wants to download 21 GB for all the cutscenes to look good, but at least there's a 2 GB option that just changes the main game to look, sound, and overall feel like the remaster we should have gotten from day 1. This game is good, just like on the Wii, and I would recommend this game... if it weren't for the many mistakes made in making this remaster. If it were not for the mods, I would have a harder time recommending this game, and that means for the Switch, PS4, and Xbox One, I just can't recommend it, only the Wii version. With mods, I say it's a 7.5/10. Without mods, it's a 6.5/10.

I remember playing this game on the Wii and falling in love with it, i genuinely did not expect for this game to recapture that feeling, but alas, this game still slaps.

I grew up on this so I like it a lot. It's an easy enough game, it's entertaining, no reason to not try it out.

The remaster itself is an absolute peice of dogshit. The only reason to buy this is for the Re-Rainbow Mod (literally why I bought it) as it makes the game actually good.

I would absolutely not recommend playing this game, everything about this remasters audio and visuals are completely true. However, all of these problems can be fixed with the Project Sonic Colors Re-Rainbow mod, when using the mod the game is just as good if not better then the original Colors. If not, then either stick to the original either through wii or dolphin (with an HD texture pack of course) or Sonic Colors DX, which is arguably way closer to what Sonic Colors Ultimate should've been in the first place. https://gamebanana.com/mods/535070 https://gamebanana.com/mods/325588
