Simple, elegant, challenging, and fun. I have somehow sunk nearly 60 hours into this game and don't know when I will stop playing. The challenge of growing a small team into a powerhouse is such a fun challenge to overcome. I have watched dots loop around a circuit and have been riveted with all of the things that happen along the way. Highly recommend if you are into motor sport in any way.

Game is easy to play, even if your friend isn't a motor sport fan, its easy to jump into, i find the realism very nice and i do believe this is the only management game when drivers die. Nice job on the game, can't wait for more in the future

Its simple graphics wise, but catching none the less. You have only rudementary options to influence you car (speed, acceleration and cornering) and your drivers during a race, but thats what makes this game so much fun. And nerve racking, when you try to push closer to that championship title and a yellow flag messes up your perfect strategy.

I really wanted to enjoy Golden Lap, but the gameplay just doesn’t hold up. The mechanics are overly simple and become repetitive far too quickly. While others might find some charm in its minimalist approach, I found it lacking depth and challenge. It's a shame, because the concept is fantastic, and both the art direction and audio design are genuinely well-executed. Unfortunately, the gameplay loop falls flat — and that's ultimately what matters most.

If you liked the original Motorsport Manager game... well... this is pretty much the same game. :P Not bad just not much depth. Nice art style. My biggest complaint is that it doesn't save after practice/qualifying so you pretty much have to play for an hour at a time. Steam needs a "Neutral" recommendation. It's an ok time filler..

Simple but not really good. The game is very repititive and boring. For example, the drivers have 4 (4) messages, they repite this atl the races. The time gaps are a joke, quali gaps of 4s per round between the 1st and the 3rd are "normal" After 3 Seasons you have seen all..... Booooring!!!!

one of the best games ive ever played. and the only game i know to have done something like this. this is a game that i can 100% see being a insanely big game if they make it a bit more in depth. 8/10 only a 8 bc lack of teams and over all content. but its still the best ive seen that dose something like this.

I do enjoy this game, but... it feels too easy. So, my first play through I started with Weyland. I liked the Tyrell/Weyland-Ridley Scott connection. I was easily the third placed team. The top two teams are able to lap me at the end of the first season. So, I thought I was try for something a little different. I started a Night season. Third race and my drivers qualifying in the top ten. I feel something is too easy.

Everything feels polished except the depth of the game. There are very few decisions you can make that have any real bearing on your progress. You are better off with Motorsport Manager or the F1 manager game.
