I don't think I share the experiences of the negative reviews for this game. Yes, it's a relatively simplistic rail shooter/bullet hell that punishes failure by forcing the player to restart the entire level. But if that's too much of a problem, there's difficulty settings that don't alter the gameplay but make the ordeal easier to get through without dying.
I enjoyed the different power-ups from Commander Video's companions, each with their own strengths and weaknesses, particularly as the player modes-up.
The music ir, typical for BIT.TRIP, enjoyable and suits the game very well. I would counsel that players would almost certainly want to deploy CursorJail to be able to have fun with this; Gaijin have form for not porting these WIi games to PC flawlessly, and the cursor escaping the window and throwing a spanner in the game is an excellent case in point.
