So i bought horse lords, and my mongols were arabs.. so i bought the horse lords add on dlc and my mongols were still arabs..so i bought this.

The portraits look like absolute shite. The units aren't worth the damn price and I should have bought the horse lords content pack rather than this shit.

Made the mistake of dropping 7 USD on Horse Lords during the summer sale and expecting to get a portrait pack.
But I dropped another 2 bucks on this just so I didn't have to look at Arabs standing in for Mongols ever again.
GG Paradox tricked more money out of me. 10/10.

Important if you play in the East or as the Mongols themselves. This also changes portraits for some other races like the Uyghurs as well. Got it for half off (99 cents) so I was more willing to get it. And as someone who spends a decent amount of time in the East, it makes the game more enjoyable and less immersion breaking. While I would think this should be in the base game, I would rather have the base game be cheaper and only pay for features I care about, instead of being forced to buy the whole package, baby and bathwater all.
Might not be worth if you only play on the West side of the map, though some of the starts with the Ilkhanate and friends would warrant getting this.

This DLC has greatly improved my experience playing CK2. I just got through my third playthrough of looking at mongols for 700 years, and it has definitely been the most exciting yet. 10/10

With this pack, one can assume the visage of a Mongol warlord from the Middle Ages. Those narrow eyes and strange clothes really are quite splendid.

While cheap, you would expect a grand strategy game which focuses on dynasties and characters within them to include portraits of all races within the map. I don't really feel I can down-vote this DLC given that the price is reasonable and the quality is there; but this is the sort of addition I'd expect, if not with the game on release, perhaps added as a free update.
That aside, I think this and the African Portrait Pack [for which I gave a cc review] are a worthy addition if you're a fan of the game.
