March 2025: Was just going through my games list and came across this game: DemiGod. This game has been dead... as in unplayable.... for YEARS. It requires you to login to play it on servers that no longer exist. It shouldn't even be in the Steam Store as an option to buy it.
DO NOT PURCHASE THIS GAME.
All positive reviews would have to be either bots encouraging you to throw your money away (to them) OR are people reminiscing about it in the past. It was an early MOBA game and *WAS* great... DO NOT BUY, it is not playable.

As of March 2025, it seems the account creation servers are entirely offline. I was planning to just try the game out with bots since matchmaking is dead anyways, but as it is I can't even get past the mandatory account creation to do that. Wouldn't be surprised to see this de-listed before long, unless something changes.

Despite never fully releasing the last 2 Demigods, it's a classic and fun little MOBA-pioneer.
It's carried heavily by nostalgia, alright, balance might not be the main focus, but its fun and has some interesting and unique mechanics. It doesn't get boring fast if you actually enjoy the genre and lore - if you are bored by single player games then this is not for you.

The game Does not work and there is no fix.
you cant create a Stardock account because there site is down and has been down for quite some time.
there is no fix there is no work around.
the game is 100% unplayable without a Stardock account.
