I can't believe how GREAT, how HUGE and how FUN is this game, and how very little known ! I just don't understand why it isn't as famous as Stardew Valley ? It's beautiful and fun, lots of things to do, farming, fighting... Quests and lore are very cool and detailed, and pixel art is really good. I can't stop playing. Thanks for this game, devs !

This game is an interesting bunch, it has a good blend of fighting/exploring and farming, with a bigger emphasis on fighting, it being the more emphasized aspect in the story and the game. The story is not bad, but there are a lot of inconsistencies and the plot twist can be seen from miles away, but it is at least unique. The characters are a mixed bunch, I liked that the characters were not actually either fully goody two shoes like in most games of this genre, but they were not hidden bad people (looking at you Stardew Valley) either. There were good characters, bad characters becoming good with a good amount aof characters progression and characters just staying plain rotten. The art is kind of bad for me, its not ta hurts your eye kind of bad, its more of a there were much more possibilities in this kind of bad, I have found the first game where the in game character sprite looked better than the full character sprite (The character sprites you see during the gameplay (which are less detailed/more pixaletad most of the time) looked better than the sprites you see during dialogue (at least for me)). Also, the game is kind of new when Im writing this, so there are a lot of bugs, but the developers are putting out fixes constantly and most of the bugs are not game breaking just a little annoying, so its understandable. What kind of broke the whole game for me, was that the english translation gets worse and worse the further you get into the story, around the middle part I did not know if I was having a stroke or thats just the translation (for players: around the time after you liberate the second area is when the translation just started breaking down for me horribly, up unitl then it was funky, but readable). Being a Chinese game I can understand why the translation is difficult, bu I hope they will address these issues, There are a alot of instances when the game is just painfully Chinese, which hampered both characters and story (like one of the characters's gimmick being that she is a child who helps at (her family's?) restaurant, and her every other line is that good kids should help out with chores, yes, unironically, every second line of hers is that. Pros: - Engaging gameplay and story - Most characters are really life like, with their own motivations/gimmicks, attitudes - Good blend of genres and balanced gameplay (including the crafting system) - Devs constantly updating the game Cons: - Painfully Chinese values hindering the game's own flow (no politics, more like cultural difference) - A lot of bugs, but not game breaking ones - English translation is abhorrent, especially at the later stages - Story while being engaging is also kind of flat (but the gameplay balances it out mostly). - Some core mechanics are weirdly architected/usable (like the storing system and the tool usage) With more time in development and some slight changes (especially to the translation and some core mechanics) i think this game can be a real gem, I had a lots of fun while playing and it sucked me in for hours, but the problems are still there. I hope the developers can work on these issues.
