This game hooked me almost instantly. The artwork is incredible, the atmosphere and mystery are spooky and engaging. The puzzles are pretty good.
BUT, some criticism: The action isn't great. The way in which the enemies damage you, the speed at which the flashlight works, the ease at which you can miss photos and journal entries, the platforming... all pretty frustrating. The game could have definitely explained the mechanics of choosing photos for the article a LOT better. The ending was far too abrupt (I would have liked some epilogue about how my "100 credible" article was received, to make the effort worth it). And this game would be INFINITELY improved by save slots -- in fact, I'd say this game NEEDED save slots.
That said, I had a lot of fun with this game (even though I rage quit for a while at one point) and I recommend it.
