"X Marks the Spot" and "The Oasis" Levels are the most difficult. The raid level was hard from level 19 to 21. The game is fun and was interesting figuring out. Quick play is different from Raids which was nice. Needs to scale better with difficulty. didn't build anything after level 42 on raid and got to level 100 with full health.

Not much of a game, but it all works, and the developer seems to be active and responsive, so I can give this one a thumbs up. On the plus side, the music is good, and there is variety in the maps of which there are a reasonable amount. There is a hero system, though you can only have one on the map at any time. Their are ten or eleven towers depending on the level type, the tower that generates money not being an option is some modes. There are flying units, for a bit of variety, and some variety in the towers abilities. On the negative side, there is no campaign mode or story, nothing to draw you into the process. The levels have names that imply there is a story, but apparently it is a secret. The tower upgrades are bland, with only one tower type offering a split, everything else being straight up. The models seem quite interesting, but the game view really doesn't let you see them. There was at least one unit I didn't know was flying, because the top down view didn't show me they don't (I assume) have feet. In all honesty, if this were it's final form, it would get a negative review, but I am hoping the developer is still working on bringing things up to speed. Yes, perhaps it should be in beta, but that isn't a deal breaker. This game was bought on a really good sale, and I am not sure I would buy it for more than maybe three bucks. Maybe this will change with updates. As is, I have played a mere three hours, and I am putting it down for now, hoping for worthwhile improvements. So one tepid thumbs up...
