Not yet ready for prime time. Very slow paced; AI is weird; easy to get stuck. Great idea, but needs more time in the oven.

this game id like too say this is a good game but it was release way too soon there is enough content but with how many bugs in the game is awful like if you try and sell tomatoes at the vender you can hit x over sell box then the vender breaks also wooden creates bounce right off the convator belt at the export depo the leaning curve is a struggle and there is a bug were flour machine is broken will not take water plant growth seems like forever id recommend waiting or buying on sale i feel uncertain this game will even survive needs ALOT of fine tuning

Right now i can't recommend this game. It has its potential for being a good farming, factory, building game but right now the building aspect needs some major work. I got about 40 mins in but didn't want to go any farther since i wanted a refund.

Addictive game, Dev very friendly, replies to all the messages, and fix them pretty soon.

I was waiting to get a few more hours in before i reviewed but I am liking this, it is early access, the developer is a one man team with a day job so buy in if you want to support game development, have a fun game with great potential, but it is early access. What is it, well its a light version of a farm simulator with added automation. There is not AI to help you, you do it yourself. Its not Farm Simulator nor is it trying to be, your plants will grow with the only requirement being either an animal pen, field, veg plot or tree pot and in the case of veg plot a connection to water. Animals require water and food, water comes from water towers and a tanker, you fill up your water silos and lay pipes, food you can buy or a by product of wheat. What else...well once you decide on your crops, my apple trees are linked to an automatic harvester, drops the apples on a conveyor, goes to a machine which juices them. Another machine uses hemp to create containers and mix them together, you get apple juice you sell at the port for money. It goes further, similar principle but the next layer, lets say i take my wheat, make flour in a machine, feeds another machine with flour, add water creates dough. On another line, you make cheese from milk. On another line, tomatos to tomatos sauce, mix them together in another machine, you get a pizza with obviously the sale price rising with the complexity. At the moment, the most advanced are pizza and burgers but I am still selling apple juice and flour until I get some more money. You can take bank loans, buy or hire farm vehicles, example a wheat field needs a tractor, planting trailer then after 24 hours game time, a harvester. I also hire a water trailer for my farm truck to fill up the water silos. To build you need to visit a farm shop with about 20 materials at the moment. The developer is active on Discord and Steam. Do not buy this if you want a finished article and whine about early access, you are not needed.

This game is an awesome game, developer is always adding in new things from player feedback and suggestions, actively participates in the community and has developed a game that has taken over 70 hours of my time. There is not one bad thing I can say about this game. It combines your farming simulator with factory development to create a game where you are never short of anything to do

Food Factory has a nice mix between farm and factory. You will be growing crops and then refining them into more advanced products for export to fuel your factory growth. You can build various different production lines(with or without conveyor belt spaghetti), buy and customize vehicles, tend to livestock, buy multiple properties, and even do random delivery or collection jobs. Food Factory is still in development so some things might be a bit buggy or not fully worked out yet but the game is very playable and a lot of fun! The dev is super responsive in Discord for any bugs, feature requests, or general feedback. Food Factory seems to get pretty regular updates (sometimes up to a couple times a month). With the game being less than $16 USD, if you like chill factory and farming games I think you'll get your money worth on this one, I know I have. I am really excited to see where this game goes with future updates!

I think this game is a hidden gem if you are into factory building, some farming and automation. Although I did initially struggle understanding the game but once I figured out the gameplay loop it became addictive. There were a few bugs along the way which I appreciate was addressed by the developer once you advise him/her on discord. The developer also has updated the quest system which also works as a guide as well as an improved the building / shop system which made the experience less tedious. For the price I'm not disappointed with what you can do so far and I'm sure more will be added in future updates.

This game has earned a thumbs up from me. The Dev responds to most comments. After sinking some hours into the game before posting any review or comments here , I wanted to be fair on what i thought so far. It's early access as everyone knows , so yes you will find some bugs and glitches here and there but the core mechanics are good and the gameplay i found fun. If you like the general idea behind the game and the type of game it is i think you will enjoy playing it. I do. The Dev is working on fixing things as well as asking the community what they would like to see. That's a plus from anyone who has been through as many early access titles as i have lol . My big hobby is gaming since i am disabled , so whenever i find a good Dev and a promising game i have to recommend it. Try it out

New year new look at the game 2024 There have been a lot of changes in recent times, some are great, others have changed the way of playing, which is what this time around. The biggest changes are the conveyor belts and the machines that make the products. These changes have changed the way the game is played so much that it is no longer what it used to be. With the old conveyor belts you had to figure out how to make them run best, it was a lot of fun and a challenge to make everything run properly. The machines, which consisted of several different machines, had to be placed in a certain way and connected to the conveyor belts. There were no bends, so they were perpendicular to each other and working with different heights was really quite a challenge. Well, with the new conveyor belts, this challenge is unfortunately gone. All the updates that have been made have simplified the game and made it very easy, which means that building and setting up your factory is now less challenging and that is exactly what we are missing in the game. The updates to the vehicles are fantastic, I have nothing to complain about, especially the water truck is a welcome improvement. Multiple crops are a nice addition to making food. The way of building has also improved quite a bit, that part is also a big improvement over the old one. Work has been done to improve performers, which has resulted in fewer products, for example you could quickly experience a delay if you placed a lot of apple or pear trees, which often caused the game to freeze. By having fewer products on your screen, the game runs smoothly, but this means you have less chance of overcrowded conveyor belts Put it together, run a few updates and you have another fun puzzle production factory game. But overall it's a fun game and I'm still happy with my purchase Update : 8-11-2022 I like the new version, it works fine. And you no longer have to look for the right box to build something, which makes building large buildings much easier. Unfortunately you can't use the old save game, but that's not so bad I'll survive :) the new coverbellt is handy super well done. is another well thought out system you have thought it through carefully . took you some time but was well worth it. so far I haven't come across anything that didn't work well, but I've only just dived into it. can't say anything else that you did a great job with this update. Early release game . All important products and parts work as expected. Besides, this game is already well developed. I admit it sometimes takes a bit of figuring out how something works, but that's what makes it so much fun. you can take a loan from the bank of 200,000 then you have enough money to do everything you want and that then 5 x so you can start again 5 x. You just have to go everywhere by car, you can also go by taxi only costs a few euros. you can take many chests at once of one kind by collapsing them in the store. There are so many useful tools in it it is really thought about. For example, the conveyor belt you can remove the railing or remove the window from the wall so that a pipe can go inside. is really super fun if you just take the time for it or just ask and would like to help you if you can't figure it out. no i am not a creator of this game. Definitely worth all its money now and will only get more fun and highly recommended. Update 150 hours : We built a tomato juice factory with a production of more than 150 packs of tomato juice per day, the only thing that was mediocre was the transportation to the port, no big truck with big payload. But the flatbed truck served its purpose very well . the best truck in the game. We then built a pear sab factory that turned out to be a little less profitable than the tomato factory . but is a quiet factory since you need a lot less water here, which is another advantage. Making cheese, that's a story apart the cows supply milk you convert this milk into cheese you use this cheese for the cheesburgs or for the pizza hmmm. the "problem" is that the animal save file is not working properly so you lose some food for the animals and when they are 100% (they deliver milk) they drop back to 50 or even 0%. but as long as you know that you can prepare for it. by the way, cows eat hay that you get when you bring in grain. Of course there are little things that aren't quite right yet, but that shouldn't spoil the fun, after all it is playable and for the newcomers, there is a demo factory where you can test and see everything before you get to the real work. Some attention to the bucket truck, this one is quite unstable to drive, so be careful when cornering with a finger of the gas :) The Def is also open to new ideas and fixes the bugs, where possible in a short period of time. He has already added new products to it and a new truck is coming......... exciting ..:) In short, this game is well worth your money, a game without too many limits you can build what you want and how you want, it doesn't matter what you build as long as you have fun, you can build in height 2, 3 , 4 5, 10 high it doesn't matter Connecting 2 plots of land you can also just live it out really worth it.
