Orcs Must Die! 2

Pros
Super satisfying mix of traps, magic, and mayhem Tons of trap and weapon variety to fit your playstyle Co-op makes the chaos even more fun Tight gameplay loop that just feels good
Cons
Some levels feel unbalanced depending on your loadout Story is whatever — it’s really just about the gameplay Enemies can feel like damage sponges on higher difficulties Orcs Must Die! 2 doesn’t try to be anything deep, and that’s part of the charm. It’s just pure fun — setting traps, blasting orcs, and laughing when a perfect setup goes off. Great with a friend, but even solo, it’s a blast once you get into the rhythm.
8.33 / 10
Recommend for chaos lovers and trap-building maniacs

Unfortunatly, it only runs in 1280x720p Window and cannot be scaled to 4k fullscreen, not even when i change the VideoSetting.xml. Update needed!

Whoever created Chilled Caverns I really hope you lost your job and no longer work in the video game industry.

"A festival of crashes" It crashes constantly. Not only on co-op but also in single-player. I used the function of steam to verify the game data and "fix it", but it doesn't fix anything, the game still crashes. I'm currently playing "Ratchet & Clank Rifted Apart" and it works perfectly (as many other games that I have installed and play every week). I don't know why this one crashes, but by the comments of other people, it seems I'm not the only one it happens.

I am seeing downvotes for a game that is 13 years old because its not getting any updates. Yeah - its 13 years old! I would think OMD3 would get an update before this would. Older games won't run as well as the hardware/software it was designed around and for has also aged out. It sucks but it happens. Sometimes it just takes some tweaks to work and sometimes you newer computer is too much for the game and would require something like an emulator. That is how GoG gets many of its old games working, with things like DoS Box. Also, game is fun. Think tower defense but the "towers" are traps that you can place on the floor, walls, and other places to make mazes of death. Part of the game as well is third person shooting, between waves you place the traps and during the waves you help clear out the orcs with various ranged and melee weapons. Game may not work perfectly, its old. If you don't mind that, then during a sale is a great time to pick this up. If you are worried about performance then check out Orcs Must Die 3 or Orcs Must Die Deathtrap

Quirky, corny and fun to play at first but it gets repetitive to fast and loses its appeal.
