The physics and controls feel really bad. Its like the game was rushed to be a captain toad or cute Nintendo game clone made in 6 months without any care to releasing something polished and finished. Cute graphics but the godot engine and performance even on a 1060gtx feels awful! barely gets to 60 FPS and some levels are 10 FPS

It's a real shame that such good art direction is paired with counter intuitive controls and physics. I want to highlight some very specific things here: The camera may as well not be controllable, it moves on decelerating seconds after finishing input and pans around before actually moving around the player. The way the character feels is heavy and not responsive, it has a small jump height and very slow movement speed, which takes the fun element out of the platforming sections, for some reason you are able to change movement direction while mid air which feels completely out of the norm in a bad way. The menu user interface lacks responsiveness and sound, and at times the control prompts are too small to see.

the movement and camera needs an overhaul. He runs kinda strange and he jumps super short. He needs a double jump or a longer jump.
I really hope this gets improved on because this game looks so cute

It's a great concept, and well implemented.
It's fun and gives something(s) to work towards (such as cosmetics, and getting to the next level)
I have not encountered any bugs (at least no major ones) except what I mention in the next section
Play sessions don't have to be long, but they can be, making this game perfect for when you want to play something but don't have hours.
Negatives
I'm getting really bad performance, (it seems this is exclusive to Linux though), I'm using an RTX 3050 mobile GPU and get low FPS, but oddly enough, my fans aren't going so I suspect the game is not trying to use my GPU. Bringing down the resolution does help, but of course that comes at the cost of graphics quality.
Also, no steam cloud saves at the moment, but this is minor.

I'll give this game a positive review cause it's getting patches for many issues, and for Windows users it should work fine (and maybe even other Linux users, do let me know :D )
I'd say my experience with it is a 6.5/10 but If the performance wasn't leaving me on 50% resolution I'd surely update that to an 8/10 or more.

Very cute game. Various mechanics, you won't get bored. Charming character.
The author still needs to polish some points, but I like it.
- It might be worth adding hints in some places, such as how to throw a torch at the boss.
- When turning the camera, we need more transparency of objects blocking the view in some places.
- After completing the tutorial, it is worth indicating that you need to return to the adventure selection screen, otherwise it is not clear why a new level does not appear.
- You can add more music tracks.
- It would be nice to be able to rotate the camera with the mouse, and also change the camera distance with the mouse wheel.

A cute game with a nice visual style, but unfortunatley, the game as a whole feels very unfinished, as if in early access. There is minimal camera control and some framerate/stuttering issues which can hinder the game, especially when the game hangs upon hitting a check point, which throws off your momentum, causing you to fall off an edge. The menus feel a bit lackluster, which is fine, it's not the main element of the game, but they don't feel loved - Certain menu options cannot be selected with a gamepad - It overshoots "Gallery", "Credits" and "MSAA" options on the main menu, making them unreahchable without using a mouse.
The main issue with the game is how the physics are implemented - It's a physics based game, so I expect it to feel a little "loose" or unrefined, but this REALLY does feel unrefined - When trying to grab objects, your character swings out in the opposide direction and makes it feel unfinished and unsatisfying to use what seems to be the game's main mechanic.
With some work, this game could be improved to the point of a good release, but as it stands, the game is just not yet ready for release in my oppinion. Please do keep working at it, because this could be an enjoyable game with a bit more effort. :]

The controls are atrocious. I really wanted to like this game, but it became too frustrating too fast. Moving an object... there is no logic to the physics. Directional input gets locked in so you find yourself unintentionally walking off a cliff. On level 4 I could not line up a seemingly simple jump, and when I finally did the pad I landed on sunk into the water and: Game Over. I took the "game over" as a sign.
