Way better then msfs. only buff that msfs has its that they have more default aircraft but that's. WAY more updates on x-plane 12 then msfs24.

Its quite a fun game to learn the basics of flying specially with an experienced pilot (Austin Meyers) who also happens to be the the author of Xplane. There are many interesting scenarios you can do like the current weather feature which is really awesome.
10/10 would recommend.
Also I'm so happy that there is a Mac alternative to Microsoft Flight SIm.

Have been using X-Plane since XP11. What can i say? 12 is no different, it's amazing and a massive improvement over the previous versions. Laminar are the best devs out there and constantly listen to the community with each (frequent!) update. Every update makes the sim even better even if theyre minor ones. Physics are also great alongside the graphics (which just got even more beautiful with the latest update), and the sim is very stable. Couldn't recommend it more!

Very realistic in terms of controlling the plane and I personally prefer this a lot more than MSFS. MSFS feels more like a game but the graphics are better

Better than MSFS, aircraft feel much more realistic. From a long time DCS player, this game actually got me into loving flying general aviation aircraft. Having loads of fun and I highly recommend looking into some of the freeware available, the 737-800 is incredible.
Update: Yup, STILL better than MSFS
