I like pinballs and this one is quite good, the RPG part makes it more interesting.

Very interesting. It needs more tables/lands/areas to explore as a real RPG would have. Also, forward and backward nudges, more 'toys' on the playfields as a modern pinball machine would have, and probably a less generic name for the game as a whole. It's far too grindy and repetitive at the moment. "Eternal" by itself would be fine and have pinball in its description. "Shots: Eternal", something like that. Most people gloss over indie titles because they're mostly describing the video game and not the stories behind them as AAA titles do.
Please keep working on this, it has wonderful potential!

it's a neat little genre mashup! some of the other reviews don't like the RPG elements, which is understandable as they make the score system totally meaningless, which is generally the appeal of a pinball game. if you approach this as just a relaxing thing to do rather than a score chaser, it's nice to just enjoy the realistic pinball physics, practice your shots, and enjoy the atmosphere and number-go-up though.

Dr. Nonu may not be the best pinball player in the world, but he's the first that got the "Balls of Steel" achievement.

Eternal Pinball RPG is a delicate mix of RPG elements and PInball mechanics that doesn't sit well with this player. With obstacles and causeways leading to losses being far too large, the board you start on, as well as the other boards you may encounter, are far too easy to lose on. This game is incredibly fun! I am trying to go through a second time to see if I can do it faster, knowing what I learned the first time... like an RPG. There are some bugs, balls getting stuck or just disappearing, but that has not stopped me from playing it. The game really is a nice mix between pinball and an RPG- very clever!

I mostly enjoyed my time with this game but I have somewhat mixed feelings about some mechanics.
The pinball gameplay feels pretty good, the balls have a weight to them and they are affected by physics and gravity. You can't repeat the exact same shot over and over again but your accuracy will improve over time. The game has quite a few different goals to aim for. You want to complete all collections, you want to get as many keys as possible and you want to complete quests to level up and find better gear.
I dislike the RPG elements of the game, you can't do inventory management with a controller. You have to stop the gameflow frequently to use new keys, open chests or allocate stat points. Also some of the collections appear to be bugged as they didn't increase my stats after completing them. The items you find aren't interesting at all, they all just have stat points and you just equip the item with the most stats you want.
Speaking about bugs, the multiball event has about a 20% chance to not function properly. Sometimes the event doesn't end if you just have 1 ball left, sometimes the event ends when you still have multiple balls, sometimes you have 0 balls left but the round doesn't end. Often the only solution is to intentionally lose a ball by tilting which is frustrating.
Another issue is that the game has only 1 normal table and 1 bonus table. It does get repetitive after a while, it also didn't help that the fishing quest took me about 6 hours to complete which involves shooting the same general area of the table over and over again.
The scores in the game are completly meaningless, with each level you get a better score multiplier. Also you can save up a lot of keys for extra score as there is no risk in the bonus dungeon. When I started playing my scores would maybe reach 4-5 million, now I can get scores in the 30 millions without even trying...
The game also doesn't show you the gamepad controls anywhere, you have to figure out by trial and error what each button does and unfortunately there is no button to use a key.

Love me some pinball, love me some rpgs, and I definitely enjoyed this odd little mix so far. The physics are quite accurate to real pinball, with a solid weightyness to the ball. Definitely worth a look, especially for the price.

I have to write a review for this game, even if it's typically “unreviewable” again!
But I will go into a little more detail! :)
The special thing about this pinball game is that it runs in an ingenious combination with RPG elements, where you have a character, like in Diablo or Path of Exile (much less complex, of course, but that's totally fine!), and equip it with armor pieces. You get these during the game when you complete quests (of which these are triggered by triggering), or by leveling up. (Yes, you also have levels(*) that increase with XPs). In addition, you can also get different keys (bronze, silver and gold), which will take you to another pinball table ingame, where if you complete the given quests (always the same as the respective “key level”), you will also be rewarded with different items.
Another aspect of this game is that you even have HP (Health Points) and you can lose them when you play against “opponents” in the game. However, you can replenish them with Heal Potions, which you can get in the game through quests, leveling, etc. There is also a “heal pool” in the pinball table that regenerates your HP.
(*) There is another aspect that goes hand in hand with the Diablo style. Namely, every time you level up, you get skill points that you can give to your various skills to become even “better”. Just as an example, there is the skill “Luck”, which increases your chances that your ball will fall out (significantly) less on both sides in the game. And many other skills are or can become interesting later on.
Oh yes, one more thing while we're on the subject of “Pinball x RPG”. There is also a merchant in the game where you can buy boxes of various values, which can contain items such as armor parts for your character, keys for the aforementioned extra quests on another pinball table, artifacts(***), XP boosts (1000 XP etc.).
(***) There are also artifacts in the game. But honestly, I'll have to find out for myself what they bring to your character or the game itself ;-)
Now my brief personal opinion so far:
I am VERY impressed with this pinball game with the RPG combo and find this one quite refreshing as well. Too bad it's a “one-off” on Steam. But I'm enjoying every second of this game and will continue to do everything I can to unlock all 15 Steam Achievements at the end! Great game, devs! :-)
By the way, the game is still on sale for a few hours for less than 2 Euros!
