I'm not really sure what to think of this game. Aside from an option to change the language on the main menu, there are no settings whatsoever (Including those for borderless windowed and fullscreen), and even the install folder is just an exe file, so I have no clue if there's even an ini file to edit (Though if you want to look, everything I've been able to find so far is stored in AppData\Roaming\Godot\app_userdata\Sherlock Holmes i el cas d'Arthur Gordon Pym Part I). I also feel like the devs are somewhat shooting themselves in the foot by having the title, screenshots, and default game language be in Catalan rather than English as many people just scrolling through might see it and assume there's no English translation. All that aside, the visual style is great, but I feel like it needs some work in the audio department to really bring it all together. There's only one chapter for now with three more planned, and said chapter is centred around one somewhat cryptic game mechanic used to solve some equally cryptic puzzles throughout. I honestly could've sat there for hours without figuring out how to progress had I not glanced at a guide after aimlessly walking around for ten minutes, but once I discovered how the mechanic worked, the game was pretty smooth sailing from thereon out. Again, I'm not really sure what to think. It might be worth the price once the rest of the chapters release, but I'd give it a miss for now.

Considering the main inspiration of this game is Outer Wilds, one of my favorite games, it's really remarkable how close the creators have made an experience that captures many of the same "aha" moments. The current experience is short (although I took some time with some of the puzzles), but there are a satisfying amount of reveals and an interesting if cryptic narrative running through your interactions. Especially impressive is the way the game both builds mastery but also purposefully avoids actual item or skill checks, much like Outer Wilds. it's difficult to design a mechanic that feels consistently interesting to manipulate, and the core mechanic here is one of the best examples of how to create interesting interactions from simple concepts. I would highly recommend playing it if you are a fan of Outer Wilds or a fan of puzzle games in general, this is one of my new favorites!

Really cool little puzzle game! Highly recommend to those who enjoy "knowledge puzzle" games like Outer Wilds (my favorite). Short but sweet, and I hear there are more chapters planned as well. Edit: The camera/movement system is a little janky though, so be wary of that.
