Nice game with a replayability potential.
It supports good cause.
Good sound and art.
It is cheap especially if you consider what amount of game hours you can receive for such a price.
1000 dead invaders out of 1000.

Fun light game with at a few hours of puzzle solving, and it is cathartic to blow up some Russian 'Z' troops.
With the profits going to a good cause (and a couple of evenings of fun!), definitely worth the money.
Glad I bought and enjoyed it!

I have been playing for 2.3 hours so far, the gameplay is super fun and simple to play but you will need a couple of hours to dominate mechanics as the stratagems and the flanking. The russian tanks turrets flying in the air once they get blow up is very satisfying, I can't get enough of them. If you like games as Panzer Corps and Panzer Generals this game will feel like fresh air. Highly recommend it.

Uiraine Defense Force Tactics (UDFT) is a simple survival tactical combat "wargame" that doesn't claim to be realistic, only that proceeds will be donated to the Ukrainians. And it is a surprisingly interesting game despite the short development cycle.
The premise is simple: you have a small detachment of Ukrainian Defense forces: 1 mobile artillery, 1 tank, and 2 squads of infantry. Last as long as you can, against ever increasing number of Russian invaders. Each of your units is capable of certain number of actions and movements. If you kill a Russian unit, you get an opportunity to get an extra action point by passing over its remains. And every few turns your side airdrops a special "strategem" box as reinforcement, which contains 3 different powers, and you must choose one. Strategem is a special power you can call down, from a precision anti-tank strike (3 damage to 1 target) to fortify your current position with sandbags (create a building around you of X points). When you use it and on which unit is up to you.
The terrain is simple yet tactical. Forests can be driven into by tanks, thus gaining cover. Infantry can garrison buildings, and let the building take damage instead. However, building only has certain hitpoints, and once those are exhausted the unit is naked again. Obviously tanks tank drive into buildings.
You can capture Russian outposts in the area, and you technically beat the invaders if you manage to captured and hold 6 outposts, but to capture an outpost, you have to leave a unit on top of it with no cover for two full turns.
You gain 1 honor for every unit you defeat. You can upgrade your units a tiny bit every 25 honor (1 extra HP) , and you can change your team composition (essentially, a different mode) with 100 honor. You start with the default team, but you can unlock artillery heavy team, tank heavy team, and so on.
You get a mix of units, from infantry to mechanized infantry, from armored cars to tank hunters, from old tanks to new MBTs, different artillery, and so on. They each have their use, different range, different HP, different movement, and so on. Artillery requires no line of sight, and can hit several hexes away, but is very weak in general. Infantry can garrison in buildings, but is slow to move, and weak in attack. Tanks are heavy-hitters, with armor, but moves average and can only take cover in a forest. Armored cars are fast, but rather weak.
You will NOT win, and it's about lasting as long as you can. Well, maybe when you're max'ed you may be able to kill 1000 enemies and hold 6 outposts. But that's way down the road.
For a cheap little wargame, this one is actually not bad.

I was having fun for the first 1.5-2h, but after that there was no challenge to overcome, just killing horde after horde without any difficulty. It's a really simple, shallow game, better suited for smartphones or newgrounds. But it's a charity one + cheap, so It's good enough.

Light tactics with mild progression. Good game play loop for a quick battle or 2 easily without any real time investment required but entertaining enough to keep you going for a while.

Into the Breach lite, with surprisingly satisfying mechanics, gameplay and visuals! Took me only 5h to 100% it, but it was quality time.

Support Ukraine. Yes to politics in games, particularly when they actively aim to be political like this one. To deny them this luxury would be the same as admitting that games are but toys that aren't equal to any other art trend. Most of the time, self-proclaimed purists who protest against politicising 'their games' simply disagree with the points made and can't let a different opinion exist due to dogmatic thinking. The same thinking that led my former compatriots (I lived in Russia for 25 years) to mass-murdering civilians, violating people of all ages, planting mines in the shape of toys, indiscriminate bombings, and other crimes against humanity. These terrorists flee in fear after meeting an actual opponent with guns instead of banners they used to crush so easily. But the two-headless chicken doesn't give up its brutal ways and doesn't seize its ludicrous imperialistic demands for a second. Bluff is one thing it was always consistent at, and being overestimated is its mouldy bread, which is a hard sell after this fiery fiasco. I envy people who can look at it without feeling ashamed. Then again, they'll never understand my glee.
Despite the game being a charity project, it's a well-made, respectful, angry little thing. Don't expect anything but a mini-game, but it isn't your usual "f*ck you, it's charity" business. The game is alright for the money, could be great after a few tweaks. In a nutshell, UDFT is an extremely streamlined Advance Wars clone where you have to fight against waves of Zorcs on the same randomly generated map, using a very limited assortment of units and special powers. You will lose, gain Glory, upgrade something with it, and lose again, slowly grinding your way to victory. The process can be tedious, but I've had my share of fun for the price and just left it at that. Unlike me, the game's loop reflects the persistence and absolutely inhuman stamina demonstrated by the AFU on countless battlefields. It isn't exactly an authentic experience though. In reality, it's the Jonestown of Russia that keeps losing, wasting its demoralised "liberators" without leaving the muddy ditches on the Ukrainian outskirts. But hey, Putin's totalitarian sect gets no glory for the biggest humiliation in human history, only all manner of shame. Слава Україні! Героям слава!

UKRAINE DEFENSE FORCE TACTICS a charity project by Dev/Publisher Spacewalkers where all monies go to help the Ukraine.
Great fog of war, line of sight, stealth and environmental cover rules where you can even take cover inside of buildings where they will deteoriate under enemy fire til your infantry are exposed. Plenty of artillery and air barrages etc. Units can pick up salvage from their kills which allow them to move or attack again on the same turn. Supply drops give the player cards making it possible to call in air attacks, interrupt enemy supply lines where they cannot move for a turn, the ability to drop smoke screens to protect units on the field etc. A game that has some incredible coding skills making all of this happen as well as great music and some crisp enjoyable graphics bringing the battlefield to life.
UKRAINE DEFENSE FORCE TACTICS, BUY IT! PLAY IT! Use some of that gaming magic we are blessed with to support a good cause to keep at bay the darkness humanity is so prone to commit upon itself.
