For all the snow bros fans , this game is a must! The gameplay is familiar but with an added twist , which is that you can deflect/bash the rolled up enemies around the arena like it's giant pinball machine. The retro artstyle and presentation were all well done and there is a lot of content here apart from just the arcade mode. The chaos mode was a personal favourite of mine . Tried a bit of the coop mode and it works really well . Pros(+) +Presentation +Gameplay +Pickups +Character customization +Content variety +Leaderboards +Coop Cons(-) -Enemies could be telegraphed a bit better ____________ I'm kinda mad at steam for hiding this niche indie game from me for soo long but I'm glad that I got my hands on this .

I am fond of this game. It has great sprite art and catchy music but most of all it's fun. It's one of those games that feels good to play. Your character controls exactly as expected. The tutorial is clear and useful. We're all here for the gameplay more than anything and if you harbor any positive feelings towards platforming arcadey type games you should check this game out. It has some similarities to snow brothers and bubble bobble but it's truly it's own thing. My time in game is relatively short right now but I just beat the first world and I think other players would like this game. EDIT: I have been doing the world tour rather than the arcade mode. I have been through the first 2 worlds (south and north america on the game map) and there are a couple things I have noticed. There is a mechanic in this game where you can't always jump down through a platform to the one below it. This is cool because it creates some additional pathing challenges. I have played 2 boss fights so far. Both fun because they involved a lot of trial and error for me. I also unlocked a new character who I like a little better than the starting characters. Recommendation if you try this or the demo: Go to options and turn on whatever the thing that lets you auto throw is. That way you will only have to tap fire when you need to throw very rapidly. Auto fire is a nice addition to this game which was not here when I first played the demo.

Another great game developed by Kaleido_games. Without ever having played Snowbros before, I embarked on the adventure of Slam and Roll. I absolutely loved it. Like most games I enjoy, I pushed it to the limit. The goal of the game is quite simple: save historical monuments from escaping enemies. Initially, the game offers three modes. A fourth will be available after certain actions. TOUR, ARCADE, and CHAOS modes. Chaos mode is the equivalent of a *weekly challenge mode. Initially, there are three characters available to choose from. Several more will be added. The first mode offered is World Tour. A complete exploration of all the levels hidden across several continents. Each continent has its own distinct music and each stage has its own unique design. I must say that even after several rounds, the music remains enjoyable to listen to. All the designs chosen and created for each level are very original and pleasant to watch. I'd even say it adds an educational and intriguing aspect. In ARCADE mode, the level selection is more condensed and more challenging. The designs of each level have been reworked, and the enemies are faster and more devious. CHAOS is an even more difficult mode, but with far fewer levels to choose from. Leaderboards are offered for each different mode. All the achievements work very well! I had a great time playing Slam and Roll, and I recommend it to anyone who enjoys good old-fashioned arcade platformers.
