It would be nice if we can take out multiple bank loans at the same time. up to a certain amount of our monthly income. maybe 45% or so. but besides that, i like the game

Shit tutorial, just let me do the things you explain instead of giving me 100 popups with a shit ton of text.... Graphics aren't satisfying or appealing for a pretty new game, even in the sale for 10 euro it isn't worth it for me.

No No NO. looks ok, tried to get into it. A long unbelievably slow grind assigning work and no matter how careful you are you keep loosing money. You start with quite a lot which is good but the finance system in the game is way off. Staff get miserable and ships don't run with low staff morale, so again just loose money. Couldn't keep it going even after selling everything I built up.

I thought this game was in early access the entire time that I played it. There are bugs. There's even a report bug button on the UI of this "fully released" game (anyone else find that strange?). I am in a mid to late stage game and most of my Operations are done automatically.. I'm experiencing a bug that involves a relatively new ship under player control. The bug is impacting my ability to control the ship's speed. I usually adjust the ship's speed during the voyage from the manage contract window. I have noticed that I am constantly missing contract deadlines on this ship which has led to me paying closer attention. When I attempt to adjust the speed, it will change for a quick moment, then it will switch back to a default (usually the mid-point of the ships total possible speed). I can see the speed change in the ship list on the bottom-left to what I set it to, then I can see it change back to the default. Kinda game breaking...

It's a rather zen shipping game. It's got a bunch of features, but most of the time you'll be watching & waiting for your ship to move to its next port. The tutorial is thorough, but not too verbose. Once you're through, you've seen many useful aspects of the game. I started my single player game on hard mode vs 10 AI opponents. Got shipping with my starter ship, and then shipped some more. Over time I replaced cheap labour with folks who had good potential to level up. I kept adding new features to my ship until it was maxed out. I started using the shipping planner and queue element to load & unload at multiple harbors to try and maximize my cargo storage usage. After a decade I had enough savings to 50/50 fund another ship together with the bank. Two ships make much more money than one. I see an economic snowball forming! Enemies seem pretty good at scaling their economy. I was in the lead for a few years, until I got overtaken. The number 1 competitor has 5 ships vs my 2 ships. We'll see if my showball can chase their avalanche. Upside is that I'm entertained, and I tend to bore easily. The UI is mostly alright, but has a few janky things such as overlapping UI elements not reacting well to hovering (which of the two element wins? The one you _don't_ want to!). There's a few extra clicks through popup windows to swap between shipping planning steps that are inefficient. The UI design has made me wonder if this was a mobile port, but it's too good for that. So yeah, it's a bit quirky but plays pretty well.

A major disappointment. Less gameplay than Ocean Trader from 1995, which this "game" is an obvious clone of. Visible lag. UI issues. Etc.

Good game. It lacks variety in vessel types, in comparison to it's competitors you have a good few options with bulkers, tankers, LNG tankers and container vessels. I am missing MPP, heavy lift and cruise ships, maybe a few others like offshore and jack-up. A few additional sizes/classes would be great as well. More useful opportunities to actually see your ships would be cool too. I really like the options to hire crew a few agents and operators but even more positions would be great (crewing, purchasing maybe even insurance and chartering). I'm also missing the option for long time charters either from others or to charter out your own vessels for multiple years. More ports would also be nice. More variation in Layouts/looks of your ships would be cool as well. More settings and customization would also a great improvement. And one more thing that may be too big for a game like this but would be really cool is an office builder. Building your own office with as many desk spaces as you need and having to expand, relocate or rebuild when your company grows. I do really enjoy the game but it could offer more. At the moment I personally believe it is the best game in it's niche. I would reccomend buyng it if you're looking for a game that allows you to run your own shipping company. But it could be a lot more expansive. However I do understand that a game like this with a really limited audience probably doesn't have the biggest budget. Steam workshop/mod support could fix that. Probably not easy to do as well but that would leave options.
