Looks like this is going to be the first non-pre-release review and first non-free-game review for this game. In other words, at time of writing, this is the only review here written by somebody who paid for it.
I love Paganitzu and this builds on that fairly well. However, it commits the cardinal sin of most games aiming to feel like a late 80s/very early 90s PC game, as it has music that is more at home on the consoles of the era. PCs never sounded like this. Even graphically I think it looks more like a late NES game, maybe early SNES with the 3D look of some of the pickups.
It is extremely difficult and punishing. That's not a negative, more of an FYI. So why have I given it a thumbs down? Well it certainly doesn't deserve "100% positive" reviews, so I'm balancing it out. It's a good game on sale, not sure it's worth the full price. 100% Deck compatible though, so it should have a green tick, although I'm quickly coming to the conclusion that the Valve compatibility marks are to be taken with a pinch of salt.
