Games where you have to keep the balance on a needle point that non of your resources drop into the negative might be appealing for some but I'm no fan of it. Right from the start of the DLC content I have run nearly everything on low numbers to not run out of money and that didn't change in any form even with now 6 colony. Also so far I never saw any new technology beside what I had from the start usable. If the DLC had at last some researchable technology it might be fun but as it present it right now to me I would say only buy it at an discount to "donate" some money to the developer for the base game. But the addon it self is not worth the money or time you invest to play it.

Pretty bad all in all. The new ages are designed very badly and uncreatively. Terraforming is completely unneeded apparantly. Only thing you wanna do with new planets is drill the hell out of them. There is not much to do all in all. The worst part is the completely bugged budget. My whole budget is getting used up for a very small space navy construction effort. The final boss is also completely bugged out. I don't quite know if it was actually possible to lose the game at that point but i wish i would have lost so the game would have ended quicker.
