Lorethem Reviews

A small, third-person adventure game with action elements and a marvel atmosphere of magic world. The plot is pretty simple - wizard's apprentice attempting to save his teacher from the evil threat and it's up to you to help him on his way.

This game is set in a pretty and atmospheric nighttime world with anthropomorphic cartoon animals, and it's all very nice to look at. The story is told entirely through dialog; it appears that the main character accidentally pushed his magic teacher into a portal, and now he has to find him. The world is free-roaming, but all the locations are significant so you should be able to progress if you wander around and interact enough. You have to collect sparkling coins that are all over the place, but other sparkles are just for atmosphere and lighting and it's hard to tell them apart. There are some hidden quests where you have to roam through the darker parts of the map as well. Since the game was updated and save was enabled, I have been able to progress, but there is a lot of precision jumping and dodging that may take a while to overcome.
