I'm not very experienced in writing reviews, but I'd like to try it here. Also, I don't think I should tell the story because spoiling a little of it may probably ruin the game. Let's just say that you don't really have to play this game to play the sequel, but by doing so will make the other games more engaging.
The real gameplay of this game might only take around half an hour, so it's a good game to pass the time (you can even request a refund after you're done I think, considering the time needed to complete the game is less than 2 hours hehehe). Even after doing extensive grinding like I did, it still didn't take more than 2 hours. Looking at the price range which resembles mobile phone games, I think that's more than fine though. Besides, the comedy is great here so that's a plus from me.
This game has some flaws unfortunately. Firstly, the game might crash if you press "back" button (whether it's "X", "esc", or "0" on NumPad) on loading screen after encounters. Second, there's just so many NPC in town that's only there to fill in the town (I always love to talk to every NPC in games, but only a handful of NPCs are responsive here). Lastly, I was hoping for a side quest or something like that when talking to NPC, but there's only donation that doesn't actually affect the story whatsoever.
Overall, I can say that this is a slightly decent game. It seems that this one game is given the least care and attention compared to the other trilogy. If you want to have a comprehensive idea about the world in this trilogy, I will recommend you to buy it though.

Alright, alright -> Let's get one thing out of the way first: Lars is hot and has a very long sword. Yes, that was important. To me.
This game is... Fine. I mean... It made me want to keep playing it. I've never seen gold drops so generous, as well as XP. I didn't have to grind much to get new gear. I went from just a couple of spells with one staff and when I equipped another: Had over 15+ spells or so? Equipping new weapons is really something... Especially for the mage lol.
Language and story: UHM... I played it in English... It's... It's understandable...? It's not really well translated though and in one town Portuguese language comes through... I am not making fun, I am just saying that there are mistakes, but you can still get the gist of it.
Gameplay: Well... It's turn based... You kill things... Obviously? I had overleveled characters and they stopped getting skills until I found a new staff.
Let's see what else... Sometimes enemy's HP is hidden behind the middle person's head. The description on "Louis" is the same as on "Dereck". Descriptions are a bit off too, but okay. Red slimes and that dusty dragon are pretty tough. Slimes have super speed and that dragon has a ton of HP. Which you can't see... Until you get it way lower.
LICH is the hardest boss. Yes, really. He literally debuffs and puts you to sleep and yeah, you get it. No, he isn't the last boss. What about the last boss? Um....... He only did one attack the entire time... It did 0 damage to the warrior and a few points of damage to the others... Only near the end he used "Nuclear"... I had no idea he could do anything else!
OKAY and apparently there are QTEs? (Quick Time Events) Where you have to press appropriate buttons? I thought that it was a threshhold breaker!!! You know... When you overpower the enemy and it gets debuffed or stun locked or something? This isn't like that! You literally HAVE TO press the correct buttons. I only got what was going on ... ON THE LAST BOSS! And I still never once got it right lol.
Also, when you go to the flying airship? If you go past it... You can walk on water. If you ever wanted to feel like Jesus? Now you can!
So how was it? Just fine. I have no MAJOR problems with it. I played it and had some fun with it. That's enough for me for some evenings. That said... Thank you! :D =) :)

You can't expect much...I mean look at the price for this game. But than there are real epic RPGMaker games for free around.
So what do you get:
a) a world not real worth saving: It is an empty world with not much done to villages...heck many of the NPC don't even have the normal 1 sentence, they just stand around. Houses, castles everything looks like there was not money left for furniture.
b) a generic story (oh, someone summoned a bad guy...you must save the world).
c) standard fights like in the old days...I mean every 2 steps there is the next fight (OK, a little bit exaggerated but you get the gist); sometimes QTE were you must press certain buttons for extra demage or avoid demage...can't say, they pop so fast up and than vanish that I can only guess that this game was done on an High End X86 processor,
All in all even if this a one man production....I would never ever put this on sale (and I bought the whole trio for just a little over €2).
So can I recommend this game?
