A deceptively simple, yet charming RPG with a pretty nice soundtrack. Combat starts out rather bare-bones, but gets more involved as the game goes on and you unlock new abilities and items. The story likewise feels rather simple on the surface, but in classic FNaF fashion there's more going on than meets the eye. Post-launch updates have added to the game and made it flow much better, the most recent (and final) one giving combat some much-needed variety, especially early on.
The game is pretty grindy at times, particularly if you are aiming for 100% completion, but I never felt like it was a huge problem. Definitely recommend this one if you are a fan of the Five Nights at Freddy's franchise. The affordable price is a nice bonus.

A trully delightful experience, a fan project with a long history of updates, improvements, and literally THE MOST engaging RPG elements I've ever had the pleasure of interacting with. While I personally think the pace at which the power-ups from the "DEAD FOREST' portion of the game are introduced in is questionable at best, they still are the core of this game, and are a joy to use during 'THE MACHINIST'.
...Kane, if you're reading this, Popgoes Evergreen is forcing me to recommend this game on steam at gunpoint, I don't have much ti-OH GOD, BLAKE WITH THE METAL CHAIR-

I originally played Popgoes Arcade when it was free on Gamejolt and enjoyed it, so when I heard that there was gonna be a premium version with an entirely new chapter, I was sold! Then, I played it and I was amazed at how different it was than the original Gamejolt release.
First of all, battle gifts. I enjoy most of the gifts. Some of them were meh, but I never felt like any of them were bad, so to speak. Some of them were actually fun, especially some of the ones introduced in The Machinist! Speaking of...
The new chapter (The Machinists) was a very nice welcome to the game, especially the new items like Shield Peircer (very useful against charged enemies). I also enjoyed the fights against [spoiler] The Puppet [/spoiler]. It felt very fresh and fun.
If your a fan of RPGs, the Popgoes series, and FNaF, I definitely recommend Popgoes Arcade, especially since it's just $4.99, so most people can afford it!
