I really like this game, it's simple but it's been great so far.

This game contains about 17 hours of gameplay. The battle system's very traditional, which is a plus for fans of JRPGs IMO. Unfortunately, the story is not very good and the characters are unlikable.

Story is decent; could do better with a little bit more polishing here and there. Battle system is classic JRPG with quartz system (it's actually a good system!). At this price, I'd absolutely recommend Gale of Windoria for JRPG fans out there :)

This is a simple, short but relaxing RPG to play. The story pretty much is about the worlds different region/nations elemental gems being tainted by a darkness that is being summoned by a evil cult (sounds very Final Fantasy ish). You play as a young hero boy who escapes his hometown with his childhood friend after their gem was tainted by the darkness. You go to a nearby nation to see if the other gems can help yours recover its power. Along the way different allies from the different nations will join your adventure in stopping the darkness from spreading and destroying all the gems.
What makes this game interesting is the different nations are represented by different elemental races, so the water gems nation are mermaid people and the fire nation are imp like people with fire hair, the wind nation are elf like characters.
Each party member has their own element which will determines their powers and skills. Each character can equip armor and weapons to increase their stats. In this game their are items or gems that your characters can equip to give them stat boost, new abilities or perks. These items can also be leveled up to improve its effectiveness.
Like I said before it is a short but chill game to play over a weekend or so. I recommend it and def worth a pickup if it is on sale.
PROS
+ Interesting characters
+ Decent story
+ Fun customizing and game play
CONS
- The world is kinda dead (not many towns and they feel empty) and a bit boring to traverse
- The game is super easy
- Repetitive Soundtrack
