Price is fair for for game in early development. Graphics of gameplay are super cool. There are obviouely some things that are needed. At first game doesn't really explain a lot about gameplay, but it's not hard to understand it. Game is enjoyable and fun. P.S. pls add dodge :)

Review at: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=irSUJL3JMpoI really want to enjoy this game, but if this is just a demo, why am I paying for it? It lacks any content to really enjoy this game. No explanation on how to play this game. Flaws in the conversations with the people in the village. I would hold off until this becomes an actual game.

1. It doesn't work after the first start. 2. The font size is too small. 3. There is too little content. 4. There are many mechanics, but they're not bound enough. 5. There are issues with animations and aiming.

Because of games like this, I wish there were undecided options when rating games on Steam as this one is obviously uncompleted due to the lack of funding and support so it was put on hiatus for the moment but I wouldn't keep your hope up if you wish for the development team to miraculously return finishing it but you never know. It doesn't sit right with me to recommend a game that is abandoned (for now), even though I like some of the immediate impressions and the setup of it up for this turn of this essentially a vampire survival game mix with rogue-lite element (so far only one bossfight), where you are playing with a lot of fire. This isn't a review but very much feedback giving the pros and cons as I do see the potential it just needs a lot of tweaking but the visual is there.
+Pros

Flashy animation.
Plenty of fire-based abilities to experiment and mess around with.
Cool village set up where you take a break from all the survival rogue-lite gameplay using that opting to upgrade skills.
I love the NPC dialogues, their character design and story.
Plenty of abilities.
It's addictive and very satisfying to play.

-Cons:

Some runs are too chaotic, feeling a disconnect where you are just taking a break from it in a quiet village outside of combat.
Some runs feel like they last and last forever.
The boss fights are too sponging and it is to detect when you're actually deal damage to them.
I don't like how the boss (well at the first one) is off to the side of the scene. I wish they were in the middle and you have to fight around them or they could move around on the battlefield instead of being stationary in one spot the whole way through.
It may be me but the range of normal attacks seems completely weakened than normal melee attacks.
Some text is too small to read.
Some skills have a lot of text explaining the ability. Shorten it and maybe give a visual of what the ability looks like.
Need more tutorial sections because the game just gives you a lot of things to do without you understanding it.
I came I tried I never came back to it, it was worth the try to support a small team making their trials publishing a game but the end result is not a recommendable game. Hopefully they'll b able to learn and deliver us an indie that would be worth our gamers' expectation one day. If I had spend real money on this I'd be mad but steam market tokens allows people to take risk with tries like this and this one of the reason why I love Valve :) 4/10 looks good but very raw

The game was fun and i think satisfying to play. I have some issues with it but i want to start with what i liked. First of all thank you so much for adding the option to disabling the shaky screen. It's so traumatising for me because of the earthquakes i experienced in my country. I liked how mobile the game is. After i die i say "Nah it's enough for today" but no i unwillingly keep playing. Especially if you're just playing the game just overuse the ring of fire spell. It's cooldown is short and make you unbeatable i meelee combats. I love the skill system and i want to see the skills that are coming soon. The game is early acccess and i feel like it's a good introduction to the game and the newly studio. The game is addictive. In that note i want to talk about what i want to see from that game and what was lacking. First of all even tho i muted the game from it's settings when start the game it's volume is in max for couple seconds. This bug needs to be fixed. Then the menu. Menu is kinda bad. It needs to be designed better. The thing needs to be designed better as well is the start of the game. Game is so far from being self explanatory. I appreciate that there are no longer and boring tutorials but game really lacks to explaing what are you doing or you need to do. Especially some mechanics. For example revive and meelee attacks. I still don't understand how to use them. I just randomly click on screen to do them. There should be key button for revive and meelee attacks need to be more in player's control because i don't understand if i am using it or not. But anyways those are natural things for a studio that's working on their first game. I like it and i saw the potential i can't wait for the improvements.

This game has the ambition of trying to combine Vampire Survivors with a more Diabloesque ARPG experience. Active abilities, a range of skills to choose from, and manual aim make this a more involved experience. There's clearly much development left, as this is only version 0.2 as of writing. With time this could become a highly-varied, more hardcore evolution in the Survivor Genre.

Nix is an early access game that has potential to be a fun and exciting experience. While it is still missing several features, such as additional avatars, the game is priced fairly for what it currently offers. The graphics are visually pleasing, and the music is enjoyable, especially the battle music that sets a good pace. One drawback of the game is the unintuitive tutorial system, which could benefit from a practice arena to help players get a better understanding of the controls and game mechanics before diving into battle. Additionally, the beginning of the game can leave players feeling unsure of what to do, but eventually, the objective becomes clearer - to enter the battlefield. However, I would love to see the village using more meta-game elements to enhance a player's overall experience. The game injects humor into its npc characters, adding a bit of charm to the game. The fisherman's quote, "fishing is the sport of drowning worms" is an example of such humor, which adds to the game's appeal. While still in the early stages of development, Nix shows promise with its melee and distance firing modes, as well as the implementation of power-ups, which are gained with experience. It would be great to see the game explore more quest-oriented ideas, especially since the town leans towards that direction. Additionally, collecting power-ups and heals on the battlefield could help players survive longer while developing the game's richness. Overall, Nix is a game worth checking out, especially for those who enjoy early access games. It has its share of drawbacks, but the game's potential and charm make it worth the asking price.
