I only just started with the game and I like it so far; it's though and challenging, even on easy modes :) I did not have a big issue with the initial loading/generating/unpacking times. I've a 10yo system (but with a RTX 2070 Super) and equally old disks (not SSD, at least not where this game was installed by default) and it was maybe 5 minutes or so the first time. Since I can't figure out a way to contact the dev, besides all the things like, here are my UX PITA points:

can't use the xbox controller d-pad to navigate in the menu. I unsuccessfully tried re-mapping it in the options but d-pad does nothing. It's not a big thing but just would feel more natural (to me, anyways)
I can't figure out how to get back to the main menu. Once I choose e.g. "School" I am trapped and go only choose other school events but can't figure out going back to the main menu to e.g. Story mode. I've to completely exit it. Because from within "School", main menu brings you back to "exit game|reset|options|play" and play goes right into school ?!
The camera panning behind the car when turning. This is my biggest gripe. The camera reacts _too_ quickly for my taste. Comparing it to other racing games I play, first the car starts to turn but the camera is still fixed and then _more slowly_ follows the car. Because when turning left/right the whole thing feels like immediately following the car almost like the screen is shaking, giving an uncomfortable feeling. There _is_ delay but for my brain it's way to short. Note sure how to better describe this :)
WARNING: Once you start the game for the first time, it starts generating your world on a non SSD HD it took me about an hour to play the game on startup. A drifting game with an open world experience, the times are very challenging at the start of the game, you need to weight shift to get around corners effectively. The problem is the randomly generated tracks cut in to the landscape something fierce and the times you need to achieve are very tough even on normal. I think once I unlock a new car the game may get a bit easier but its difficult to tell, the ground clearance of your starter car is very low and cant even clear curbs very well. Played for 7 and a half hours and only just got past the tutorials mainly because the cone sections of the SpaceKata a fabulously buggy. I would recommend the DEVS do a demo of the game with a pre generated world (or have it as an option) and give more time on easier difficulties. I may have gotten really unlucky with my world gen because one of my Missions Climb A Little has broken checkpoints the are rotated 90 clockwise and go up the mountain in a way I can't get too. I will change my review when more patches come out for the game, but sadly I could not recommend the game right now. I really love the scope of the game and its a fantastic idea but the track gen and the times you have to beat make this game un fun. EDIT: 9 hours now and i still can't get a new car I have no luck. The game does not seem to calculate height in to the track times, so they do these impossible cuts that make no sense. (u-bend off a cliff and land on the road again at max speed), the times need to consider y axis as well as what the track is actually doing.
