Ski3 is a modern take on the classic SkiFree game, bringing back the nostalgic gameplay with very good graphics. The basic gameplay is very basic and offers a thrilling experience of skiing down a slope while being chased by a yeti(sometimes), all set in a visually stunning environment with a day and night cycle (and snowstorms). Speaking of graphics, they are very polished and well-done, much better than your average first time indie game. Very immersive snowy mountain setting. Back on the gameplay, it is fast-paced and can get challenging, with players having to maneuver through obstacles, trying to score points and also hoping to shrug off the Yeti. Also the map seems to be infinite. One of the standout features of Ski3 is the hardmode, which offers a very large score multiplier but also ramps up the difficulty, by having to play only during the night with a massive snowstorm to cope with. The yeti also becomes slightly faster(I think). To help with navigation during the night, you are given a lantern. Without it its impossible, so remember to press E to toggle it (i skipped trough the entry message, and didnt know, had to figure it out myself) On the other side of the spectrum, there is also easy mode, that, from what I've seen, completley disables the yeti and makes the weather mostly mild. Overall, Ski3 is a fun and exciting game that SkiFree fans will love. The addition of a hard mode with live scores provides a new level of challenge and replayability to the game. Highly recommend for those who love a good arcade-like skiing game, but keep in mind it is still in early access, some things may change or not be fully implement yet. From what I've seen the dev posts updates quite often. At the moment I will rate it strong 8/10 because of some minor annoying little bugs (i.e. sometimes rarely the character can get stuck and you have to restart)

I like EFFORT, and that is abundantly obvious in this game. While it's not to the level I'd like to see for a $5 title, i think it has a LOT of potential for a really fun little indie game. It just needs some more effort put into it and the developer needs to pay attention to the little details. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=U3hC4cVIYPo&t=14s As it is, I am going to recommend it but it only gets a 6 out of 10 in my initial scoring. If the developer puts out some updates and makes some little changes, I can easily see my score going way up for this one. Recommended, but it needs MORE to justify the price.
