I honestly can't recommend this game. it's way to expensive for the content it offers. you get an offer of upgrades and soldier and then you buy the things you need.
this is fun for a couple of runs but every run is just you and the enemy AI (it is always 1v1 and no multiplayer or anything) spamming units and just smashing eachothers blob of units against eachother until one of you die. a run generally takes 10-15 min.
there are a good number of units and buffs but they all feel like the same, no hard counter or a rock paper scissor mechanic, upgrades either work for all units, just melee or ranged. and there is litteraly no reason to go for ranged units since their range is horrible.
