Embodies the true spirit of the ancient art of sumo like nothing ever before!

Exceptionally silly single player mode and a surprisingly exciting soundtrack. This is not a game with tight controls or even "good" game play, but it leans into it's absurdity incredibly well with. Every inch of this had to have been made with laughter. I can't comment on the multi-player yet, as I've not found anyone online the same time as me in my region.

This is real sumo. I really felt like I had become a true [b]yokozuna[/b]. I don't think there will ever be a game to encapsulate the thrill of sumo wrestling quite like this game. This game rewards you and celebrates you for all of your victories, and uplifts your spirits like no other experience ever could. With bated breath, I will pray and hope that there is a sequel to the thrilling narrative presented by this game, where perhaps I can conquer the title of yokozuna once more, or perhaps defend my grand title. I [b]definitely[/b] recommend this game, very worth your time and money, even if you are not a fan of sumo like me. Thank you, Bakumatsu Games for your incredible video game. I wish you the best of luck in your future games, that they might capture even a sliver of the great entertainment and magic magic that this game presents.

Unique and funny game with surprisingly detailed character creation. Has a few single player modes, replay features and some online modes. How to win is kinda vague, but failing is funny... for a short while. Probably. It sorta feels lacking in depth (depending on how much you enjoy the combat, I imagine), but it's also a relatively cheap game to buy. If I understand the controls correctly, your aim is to grapple the opponent to either make them fall (and lose their undies/mawashi), or push them out of the ring. Much like real sumo, I guess. If you play properly, that is. Left analog stick moves your character, right analog stick rotates the character's torso (think balance). Shoulder buttons for grabbing (left or right hands). There's a rushing charge/push button that's chargeable and a super jump button (use it to avoid super pushes), It's pretty easy to accidentally stumble over yourself. Customization accessories are locked by default unless you pay a little extra to unlock everything. Otherwise you have to earn points in-game to spend on gacha and unlock everything one by one. Which is not great. Note that there is no slender/voluptuous body for females. I'd like to see the developer make other sports/concepts in a similar wacky style. Realism is boring. We NEED more silly fictional versions of everything.

This is the prime videogame experience. This is the pinnacle of video gaming. You can make anything your heart desires into a sumo wrestler and make them do battle int he ring. Afterwords they can do battle on the dance floor. Truly an experience, i wish all people would play it.
