You can't save a game in the middle of a mission and continue later.

Great, simple game with a lot potential. I had a lot of fun playing the campaign and after that I now am into the survival mode. With several characters to choose from with a bit of skill tree I can see several different ways to have fun with the game :)
so far I really enjoyed it!

A game that harkens back to the days of Warcraft III and shines in its own way. Darfall may not harness the same magic as its forebear but it does a good job of keeping you engaged. A game of variety, Darfall dabbles in many realms. So, if you like tower defense, RTS, RPG, or, hell, even MOBA style games you will probably find something you enjoy here. Although, with anything that tries to do it all it doesn't quite perfect any particular thing. My only other critique is that the campaign story, though quite good at first, seems to have been rushed by the end. Lots of loopholes and logical fallacies. Also it strays from the core concept of the survival game mode by a good margin. Otherwise, highly enjoyable title with vast replayability!

Graphics could be better. Specially mage spells.

Fantastic game really. But it will get old repeatedly building the first 2 days every map. Theres little difference regardless of the map and hero you play. However, that shouldnt stop you from enjoying the game. I loved the campaign more than anything and hope to see an addition to it.

It's a game with allot of potential. If your looking for a game that had Spell force marry Age of Darkness with a They are billions mistress you have come at the correct place.
You can definitely see its still in the early stages with a few bugs (especially the movement ones) showing up here and there. I played three campaigns missions and three survival missions. For the Campaign its a classic swords & magic story with not nothing special being brought to my attention... although i would comment that it's to easy and simple and needs a little more activity. For the survival which is supposed to be a big part of this game... well this is where there are allot of things to work on.
The day-night cycles are first off to short and considering your base is extremely open and enemies don't have any spawn rules it kind of locks you into your base during the night playing defense. As well as i have noticed most of the maps are 4 days which again is to short in my opinion. Just as you start building up the game is finishing but again i saw 10 day maps and i saw Endless ones so its fine.
The hero ability to actually be a worker and gather is interesting and annoying at the same time. The devs really need to balance this one out as the Hero collects for example 10 wood while the workers collect 3 wood and there is a speed difference since a hero will collect 30 wood by the time 2 workers collect 12 making something like a must have material to make like the planks that cost 10 wood to make and are usually required in big number a very big hassles. This effectively reduces your exploration time which is a big part of the game.
Yes monsters drop resources when you kill them... but it makes it kind of pointless since you still need to go back to base to deposit them or they will not be able to build anything.
Overall i belive as the time passes and more attention is given this game can grow into something amazing. They just need to fix a few balancing issues especially for the economy

I am enjoying playing the campaign and the survival game mode. The game is hero-focused, so it doesn't quite play like TAB. The graphics are nice and clean. The audio is decent/unremarkable. I expect the total play-time to be around 15-20 hours. Let's see how updates improve the game!

It's fine I guess.
Honestly, that about sums it up; it's just about fine but definitely not worth full price. The campaign isn't very interesting, with a mediocre story. Graphically it's not brilliant. Mechanically it's just OK.
In the 13 hours or so I had with it, I completed the campaign and played some of the survival maps. Some of the campaign missions felt like they lasted just a bit too long before the next event triggered, so I was just sitting about. Plotwise it just sort of ends, presumably to set up a sequel, but without things being actually concluded properly. Lots of meaningless fantasy place names, but no real connection to the way the world is shaped and inhabited.
It's quite limited by the troop count being maxed at 20, but perhaps that's a mercy with the slightly janky pathfinding. It does mean that it lacks that constant drive for expansion better games like They are billions has, where expanding further lets you make more troops to expand further etc. With limited troop count, you have to rely on automatic defences, but there's only two types - ballistae and catapults, and I don't think you can upgrade them.
Graphically I understand it's going for a particular style, but it's not one for me; the game isn't very pretty to look at, though I believe they might change that a little from some of their dev blogs.
The resource system feels like a lot of faff, to be honest, and the fact most of your buildings don't take workers makes me wonder why they bothered needing the middleman. I need my woodcutters to cut wood, but the building that makes them into planks to actually be useful is presumably more automated than an amazon warehouse. While technically it adds depth, it doesn't do so smoothly. This is even worse for unit recruitment, who might need 3 different items before you can recruit them.
In short: the game isn't awful but not worth full price. Maybe get on a sale if you really want.

I like it and it was very entertaining, I wish the campaign was longer tho it felt very short
I played the survival mode it is enjoyable
the games lighting is a bit dark and during the night cycle my eyes hurt a bit I usually use special glasses which filter blue light so that might be a personal issue but other than that I enjoyed my time playing I will play again if they add more Story missions and campaigns

Fun in the beginning, but not really much depth and fun in the game when doing endless games. The unit control is too shit for it to be enjoyable as an RTS. The buildings are too shit to be a TD. Right now, it's just more about learning the order of building the basic stuff, and hoping you don't get screwed over by RNG, since what items that drop matters a lot (if you play on hardest).
