A good speedrunning game worth far more than $0.79. The hours I spent trying to top the leaderboards on custom stages scratched an itch that hasn't been covered since I played other UGC games like ModNation Racers and Trials Fusion. Unfortunately, these levels will be lost to time after the game is delisted. While the game is still available, I highly recommend it, even if only for the single player.

What if half-baked Mirror's Edge time trials met Fortnite? Et voila! This game. It's a potentially interesting concept, but even had the devs had more time/funds to polish before the studio folded, I'm not sure it would have elevated the experience much. The core game play is centered around the illusion of speed and linking very basic parkour moves: jump, slide, roll, and wall run. Add to that Tony Hawk-style rail grinding and some "supermove" mid air double jumps with a moderate cool down, and that's the extent of the movement -- and none of it really ensures that you can keep up your momentum/speed if well implemented. If it sounds a little limiting, that's because it is. If anything it just makes one appreciate ME and more polished games like Titanfall or The Finals. Maybe that's not such a bad thing.

It's actually kind of fun. It's a shame it is getting delisted.

First thing I'll say is I never played the multiplayer. I only played the career mode and it was brilliant. I'm baffled as to why this game is being delisted just because the multiplayer servers are being closed and can confidently say the game is 100% worth a go just for the career mode. It's basically a parkour game in the mould of THPS. The actual parkour mechanics are pretty basic, you have a frontflip and a backflip, and you can vault, wallrun, grind and use ziplines. You can also balance across ropes. Even though the mechanics are basic and the animations are pretty rudimentary the game in general is very fun. I really enjoyed it. 4/5

It is super sad to see an indie studio having to liquidate themselves out of lacking funds. However, with this game and it's concept, i'm not surprised. And that's not just for the quality alone. A live-service parkour game is...a bold move, in three points: Being an indie developer trying to serve a niche genre and all that as a live-service game is insanely bold, and - in this case - too bold to really work. Aside that, i can't say i like the quality of this game tho. Someone who is not only used to irl parcouring, but also to Mirror's Edge, speedrunning this game and playing it's sequel, i'm baffled how no one has managed to reach the qualities of either the real-life feel or that of a 17 year old game. Feels unfair, but bear with me. The movement doesn't feel fluid or really intuitive. The basics of parcour are met in which you can jump, climb, wallrun, slide down a rope or up a pipe in a Tony Hawk-style balance meter, that is hard to lose unless you move with 1 km/h. That's about it tho. There are no advanced techniques, good ways to keep your momentum or clever plays you can do - what you see is literally what you get. And that is not a lot - a lot of levels feel empty despite being filled with all kinds of things, while the level path is boring, only occasionally broken up by your name-giving Supermoves, in which...you press E or Q when being in mid-air for a third-person double jump. And honestly...Why? That's the only thing that makes levels exploitable, and not in a good way. In such a game i want to be clever about finding a clever path, not just pressing one button. In the campaign, you have several areas in which you can solve challenges, like in Tony Hawk, which are all uninspired, boring or straight ripped-off from it's inspiration, broken up by up to 4 levels that are either Sprint, Circuit, Tag or Loot. In Challenges, moves like a Wallflip are poorly explained while others are so boring that you can solve them almost accidentally as you run around. The multiplayer sadly is abandoned and soon to be gone, so i can't say much about that, same goes for the Makea editor, even if it's a nice thing to create tracks by yourself and, until it's shutdown, with friends together. That's probably the key feature about this game. Too bad that you can't solve the gameplay issues this way either. To game like this i always have this one phrase: It is sad for the people behind it to have to stop following your ambitions, but based on what we have, i'm neither surprised nor really sad. The circumstances are sad for sure. Still my best of luck for the people behind to venture to more opportunities.

The free-running is similar to Mirror's Edge, there's a third-person mode, the courses are a fun challenge (a little too easy at times when against the AI), the "supermoves" are a fun addition and frequent life-saver, and it's 0.66p!!!

getting delisted from steam store in a little over 24 hours and shutting down the online fun game + works on steam deck + fun - feels janky and unfinished in places - cant find anybody online - online gonna be dead soon - shutting down workshop and levels - removing user created levels - removing progression i think this game has 36 levels in the single player campaign that will still be around with bots in some its only $0.79 right now, get it if you want it. not missing much if you dont cause all the best stuff is getting removed

The game's about to die and I am working on preserving it to the best of my abilities and limited time, I've already backed up all of the custom maps (totaling 1437 maps) I've only started working on this but I'm planning to make it accessible, public, and open source soon, if you're interested in the project and my efforts to preserve it feel free to join my discord server. discord.gg/wgy4uGmsst
