i fucking hate this peice of this game, its a mindless cashgrab for these fuckass developers, every single update has little to no content and breaks the fucking game every single time, i load up and my screen is shaking more than my grandfathers hands with parkensons. 4 hotfixes are pushed within a week of any content update. I HATE GHOST OF TABOR NEVER PLAYING THIS PEICE OF SHIT AGAIN

Seemingly impossibly harder to do any pve after "pve mode" came out. Sad

I played way to much of this game. And let me tell ya, terrible game, rude devs, toxic community. You can make an actual bug report and the moderators in the discord will say "Cope" and "Skill issue". Go play contractors exfill zone. Way newer game with 10x the content already.

The game is terrible, do not buy even if its on-sale. First controls suck, cant program gunstocks, movement is extremely bad and clunky no way to tell if a gun is on safe or fire, AI's have triple the health of a normal player and engage from 30 meter away when their facing away from you, storage is terrible and finicky, backpacks dont work and items will randomly fall straight threw the backpack even though its directly inside, and grabbing the backpack, vest or magazines is extremely difficult for no reason at all. Just buy contractors exfil zone this game sucks cheeks in every way possible.

The best VR game that I am terrible at, one could say skill issue... And they would be correct as I am ass at this game, but I can now be ass in PVE! It does a quite a few bugs and glitches that can be frustrating, but I still keep coming back and playing as I love the gameplay, graphics could also be better but I think it looks pretty decent. Will all the issues and things that I have experienced I still come back every time as I am addicted. I own the game on Steam and Quest, originally bought on Steam when I had my Valve Index but moved to the Quest 3 and instantly re-bought the game so I could get my addiction anywhere I wanted.

update made game unplayable and broke things that werent even supposed to be affected by the update. terrible awful game gave me a new reason to end it all

Oh cool a new update! Hold on, the new body system is completely broken, i can’t grab anything or holster my weapons anymore? and what’s with the new backpacks? are those stolen assets? I’ve crashed in almost every raid i’ve played since it installed, and the devs refuse to respond sensibly to criticism!! Basic features are now missing, exfil is nearly impossible due to crashing, and bugs are running rampant. Ooooh but they cranked the loot pool so it’s okay!!! Useless fucking devs

scavs can you shoot you from across the map and have the best aim ever and this game is so buggy its insane and not to mention dont drop any items in any building or anywhere cause for some reason they just phase throught the floor and go bye bye and also this game isnt playable with how insane the scavs aim is like i dont understand why they buffed them it used be such a good game but every update has made the game less enjoyable for some reason

TLDR: If you want to play a VR Extraction Shooter, just play Contractors Exfilzone. It just has more content and no DLC garbage, and is CHEAPER. Ghosts of Tabor is fun, but it needs some serious tuning to make it worth the money or time, not to mention half of the fun content/weapons is locked behind DLC. Mainly, it's seriously hard to progress or make money in the game, especially if you don't have 6+ hours to play every day. Looting is just terrible in general, if its not a keycard or coming from a vault, it's not even worth picking up. One purple vault is worth more than 2 hours of looting litterally everything (I'm not joking), so every kid and their mother just rushes the keycard spawns naked. GOT receives maybe one large update every 2-3 months, and it still isn't anywhere CLOSE to beating Contractors. IDC what anyone says, Contractors has OBJECTIVELY better mechanics, and they have features ON LAUNCH that GOT has had in their to-do list for 2 YEARS. GOT NEEDS things like scav raids in order to be fun. For players who aren't the best (me), it's the only way to get kits and not have to go into raids naked. Contractors has actual loot, hideout upgrades, and quests OFF LAUNCH. GOT has had all this time and money from the countless DLC's and Contractors comes out of nowhere with everything the GOT has and more, and objectively it's more polished. It's crazy how the devs have this much money to develop this game and they are still struggling to put out polished updates regularly with actual content. Not even mentioning how devs literally cannot take criticism and make fun of people for not enjoying the game. If you want a better experince, and a game that is cheaper, get Contractors exfilzone. Cheaper, no DLC garbage, and more content with actual progression. I'm glad I refunded my PC copy, because after playing 200+ hours on Quest, I'm officially retiring to Contractors.

Once a very fun game. I've had some of the best times of my life just messing around with friends in this game. That only really applies when you look at the positives though. From the awful money hungry developers to the egotistical crybaby that is Scott Albright, to the insane amounts of bugs that never get fixed, and don't even think about trying to criticise their mistakes because the incredibly immature moderation team and their insufferable community will constantly spam "skill issue" until you shut up because they're incapable of recognising when a game is just bad. It's not worth it. Having played from launch I'd constantly been hoping that the game would get better, but it just hasn't. It's been years, it's time to put the game to rest. They now have their first competitor and it's sweeped their playerbase, leaving tabor in a much worse state than it was before exfilzone was released. Yet the devs continue to be hostile and refuse to actually improve their game. Do not give them your money, they are no different from developers like Nikita, the lead developer of Escape From Tarkov. Hope you'll have fun playing exfilzone instead :)
