I had very little expectations going in, honestly. The Touhou fandom is nice for the fandom but I'm really just here for the music. I saw that this game had positive reviews, and much like Luna Nights, I was willing to give it a shot. Holy hell was I rewarded. The gameplay is great, the different builds and strategies you can use to tackle problems are diverse and varied. I haven't had fun prepping and fighting bosses since Hollow Knight or Sekiro. There were some attacks that felt a bit frustrating but overall? Amazing stuff. The art was cute, though sometimes a bit too sexual. I wasn't really here for that kind of stuff but I kinda ignored it. I understand if that's a turn off for some. The music and gameplay is great. The story at first was pretty eh, I didn't expect much going in, but by the end I was engaged enough to enjoy it. All in all, This game is criminally underpriced. This is easily a $10-15 game. I honestly enjoyed this more than Luna Nights, though I wouldn't want to pit the two games against each other since they're both the best the Touhou franchise has to offer imo. Good stuff.

Simple enough game about dodging flashing bullets. I enjoyed my time with it and for its price tag it's probably worth your time if you enjoyed what you saw in the trailer.

Unexpectedly very good game with an addictive learning curve and fantastic Touhou music remixes. The price is a steal!

An INCREDIBLE game, I've enjoyed every single moment of this game (except that bird that I hate). Story was also really nice, especially loved the ending. Can't wait for the upcoming free updates!

I don't know all that much about the Touhou franchise, but it was a fun bullet hell experience regardless! I would recommend it even if you have no prior experience with it like myself. The story is fairly simple and self-contained, so you won't have any issues in that regard. What It really excels in though, is those bullet hell mechanics, music, and art. It was a lot of fun learning all the opponents' attack patterns and improving over time. The art is absolutely beautiful, and the music is amazing to listen to while mastering each stage.

Incredible game, one of the most fun and challenging experiences I had. Though Challenge mode definetly ruined a handful of my braincells.

I've never really been into Bullet Hell games, but this one is an exception. It comes with an amazing soundtrack that I can't stop listening to and very enjoyable gameplay. I couldn't recommend this more to people who like short & sweet games like this. Not that it isn't heavily re-playable despite the difficulty. Though if you're getting frustrated with the challenge bosses, I can only recommend you take a break before coming back :p My only gripe is the occasionally very... suggestive art that pops up after you beat a boss. Though the Clownpierce one was funny, the rest feels like fan service, which kind of detracts from the otherwise amazing vibe the art gives off. P.S. The dev support pack is worth it, you get to see extra art work & listen to the soundtracks in their native quality.
