My Experience
To be honest, it's been quite a while since I played Sailor's Stories Solitaire. Because I track and score everything I play (1-5 stars), I can look back and see that I gave it 2 stars out of 5. Although it's tough to know exactly what I was thinking when I scored the game, I would hazard a guess that the game just didn't do anything at all to shake up the formula.
Sailor's Stories Solitaire came out in May of 2022, almost two years after one of Digimight's previous solitaire games, Dreams Keeper Solitaire. Not only was the theme of Dreams Keeper Solitaire more interesting than that of this game, but it featured gear that could be equipped in various slots on your protagonist to provide advantages within the game's solitaire stages.
While I noted at the time (and still acknowledge) that this system needed work, I remain delighted that developer Digimight actually tried to do something different rather than releasing endless reskins of the exact same solitaire game. Unfortunately, since releasing Dreams Keeper Solitaire, DigiMight has done just that.
