basic, but simply amusing.

Game is very basic. It also has no keybinds, which means many of us can't play it. It looks like something whipped up in a short amount of time by one person. Combat is pretty lame. It should be two bucks at best, not six.

Pretty entertaining game, simple but engaging. I've played for 13 hours but still feel like I only just started.

Played for ten minutes. Then it started raining and hasnt stopped for 7 days. There is no difference between darkness at night time and darkness on a rainy day. So once it starts raining you cant see to play. I have way more patience than most. So i would not recommend buying this title at any price. Not even 99 cents. Trash, absolute developer spent one day on it because he doesnt give a crap minecraft clone trash. Absolute most horrible piece of crap, floating turd of a game i have ever played. Im sorry I bought it, Im sorry i played it, im sorry you have to read this. Please, please dont buy it. If you do, be fully aware I warned you.

The game was entertaining at first, a minimal survival game with some nice progression. The lack of documentation and hints actually make it a challenge. But the bugs started, like loading a save game only to find my character locked into an area not meant for access and then finding that the bow doesn't even work. I uninstalled it and might come back to it sometime if the developer updates it. At least it wasn't expensive.

Game is buggy and really not worth spending money on in its current state. Way too easy to get stuck on a rock and it's game over for you. Takes way too long to gather resources that it's kind of mind numbingly boring.

There are aggressive animals from the beginning, but it's hard to hit them and there are multiple animals, so you'll be defeated easily. Also, when it rains it's always dark and you can't tell if it's day or night. I'd like to try a few more things, but it's a difficult game.

Sadly the game is very empty and boring. Cutting a tree or mining stone takes forever (like two times your complete energy bar) and while i understand that this might get faster with better equipment over time it is really annoying to stand there while doing these frequent tasks and only getting like 2 wood/ stone in return. Hitboxes are very small, you have to stand directly next to something in order to be able to interact with it, this is especially crucial for combat, where it happened quite often that i was "too far away" to actually be able to hit an enemy. Combat is boring, building talkes forever, there are a few chests spread over the map you will likely be able to get to eventually but other than that is game is very very empty and tiring. This is by no means a finished game and i will refund it.

fun game, i've played for five hours but i believe there is a lot more content to go through, currently has a lot of bugs that needs to be ironed out though. EDIT: The developer is listening to the community and fixes bugs quickly, but the game breaks often so even though i really want to recommend this game i can't at the current state of it. it's a fun game but i've had crashes every day while playing it after each patch. I will still keep playing it every update though because i find the game relaxing and enjoyable, and gives off that indie niche feeling i love.

New Horizon is a Survival game, with everything that you could expect from a game of the genre, crafting, harvest and farming system, hunger, thirst and a hostile wildlife. It's a solid entry for it's price, considering that it was made by only one person and his first commercial release. But there are some flaws, mainly with bugs, some of them, minor problems, and others, gamebreaking, and it made the release be a lot stressfull in the beginning, but apparently the majority of them were already fixed and it's not a problem anymore, but you will do find some of them. What i like about this game? - Even after 5 hours of playtime there is a lot of things to do, i just now started to get what was necessary to fuse ingots and be able to explore a new area, very interesting for a cheap survival game, i was not expecting it at all. - There is a lot of things to mess with from the beginning, it's easy to be immersed in the game, i will probably play more of it, i'm kinda curious to see what lays beyond the first biome. this is the type of sensation and curiosity that i had playing the game. - the building system is a must in this type of game, and it's entertaining to build you own house and light it up with torches and stuff, you feel part of the game. Things that i don't like: - The combat feels simple, and there is not much of a threat in the game, you don't lose anything when you die. But i didn't found any boss yet, so maybe that can be different. - (Minor) The art is poor, that's something very clear since the steam page, it's not a big problem because the huge amount of content in the game covers the lack of art quality, but sometimes things feel out of place. - (Minor) i found quite a bit of translation errors to english, and some words are not in english, even if the game's language are. But even so, the english translation errors can be kinda funny sometimes. A good game in general, it takes a lot of dedication to make a good survival game, and that alone is already a strong reason to try it.
