The game runs ok on steam deck BUT multiple local controllers are not working on the deck... Tried to create a bug ticket for the devs but I gót the 3rd reply from them support to change proton version, disable steam input, change order of the controllers. None of them works and they didn't promise anything that this will be fixed

If you're looking for a game similar to Mario Party where you can talk trash to your friends in a low stake environment, Jumping Jazz Cats is probably your cutest option.
Marketing emphasized the multiplayer aspect, so let me focus my review there. There's about six mini-game styles, with unique "music" that plays that adds a unique challenge to each play-through. Each time you play you get credits to buy customizations for your cat (shoes, hats, skins). You can also do quick-play which allows your party to vote on one of three options. The mini-games themselves can be quite fun, but as of this review (24hrs after launch) there are some unclear instructions and quirks that I hope get ironed out. Largely the instructions, as the two sentence instructions can be wonderfully vague.
If they continue to update maps or mini-games, this is probably a great contender for something to have on a multiplayer roster for friends who don't do horror games or shooter games. As it is, I can't imagine playing this for longer than an hour or two at a time.

Day 1 release, there are bugs, however me and my friends have been waiting for this game since the demo came out, and we couldn't be happier!! The customization of the kitty cats is so in depth, and the platforming has been smoothed out and easy to control. Definitely recommend it as a game for you to play with your friends in a discord call.

To me, it's a charming and simple party game, but you see what the game has to offer after a single Multiplayer Match.
The game is also rather buggy, with some of my friends getting stuck in the sky for whole rounds or unable to see their score the entire match long.
I've played with multiple friend groups after convincing them, but sadly most have refunded the game already, since the bugs ruined the experience for them and/or seeing everything the game offers after one match.
So I do recommend the experience, but if you want to really sink your teeth into it, you either need dedicated friends that'll like such an experience, or hop into online matchmaking and pray that you don't get kicked after five seconds.
Here are the rest of my opinions:
Moving around feels good, but takes some getting used to, especially some of the more clunkly controls such as throwing objects.
Unlocking Cats and having expanded customization is cool and rewarding, although I don't know about there being badges that give you Gameplay Boons.
The stages are charming and fun to play in. I really like the asthetic and the music of the game.
You can get items to use during Mini Games, but while they're asthetically funny and fitting, I barely saw them getting proper use.
There's six Game Types in the Game with some pretty fun and others having a cool concept but a flawed execution
- Fat Cat (Fish periodically spawn around the map for you to eat. It's a hectic and active experience, with eating too much fish reducing your stamina or even making you bloated. It think it fits well to this Party game and seems well balanced)
- Ring Rally (Simple race Mini Game where you jump through Hoops. It's fine, although it's effectively a singleplayer experience, since each team has it's own Hoops so there isn't much involvement with the other teams.
- Gimme Yarn (My favourite. You collect Balls of Yarna dplace them in your bed to generate points. Each team has their own bed and you can go steal their Yarn. But you can also use a Net to catch other cats, so you have many options and it makes for a very dynamic and fun mode)
- Shadow Cats (The most flawed Mini Game with the coolest Concept. Basically Cops and Robbers with one team playing as Lions that try to catch the Shadow Cats. Shadow Cats collect Gems and can go invisible by napping while Lions can roar to expose invisible Shadow Cats and briefly stun them. During the Mini Game, teams are switched around which is a good touch. The problem is with how unfair it feels. In any Mini Game, including this one, you can see other Players through walls. While probably a smart edition to the other modes, here it's stupid because the Lions will always know where the Shadow Cats are. Even when you try to go invisible, if the Lion was watching you before, they'll know exactly where you are hiding and just use their Roar over and over. I think that Shadow Cats can however exploit as well and just keep moving inside vents to never be caught, although I couldn't test that fully yet)
- Rodent Rumble (You catch a toy rat and get points for as long as you hold it. While holding it, cat food is dropped that other cats can pick up for points and eventually, the rat will stun the holding player making it easier for other cats to catch them. Again, it's a cool concept, but it very quickly devolves into catching each other over and over one the same spot)
- Cat Tree Capture (The last Mini Games and also a fine one. Jump on certain platforms for points and collect the pollen that drops from them. It's also more dynamic, as you and other cats will try to snatch pollen before the other Cat can)

Super cute game, easy to pick up for a little while when you need something to play just for a bit! Well worth the price I'd say. Definitely a game that you need to join a public lobby for, or that you need lots of friends to play with so that you can get the most of it! It's more fun with more players. There's only a select few game modes from what I can tell, but it's very light stakes, friendly competitions, and I have fun with it even as a very non-competitive gamer!
I can't say much for the single player mode, as I haven't played it yet, but if you like cute cats, simple customization, and platforming, I'd definitely recommend it for a casual gaming experience!

The game is fun! I love it very much, but I would say I do not recommend getting the game as it is now mainly because it is hard to get into lobbies as not many people play the game. There is no versus ai and the singleplayer is nothing like the mini games that are in the co op. If you have people to play this game with you it will be nice but other than that I wouldn’t get it.

I wanted to love this game. The gameplay is unique, and quite fun. However, the local co-op advertised, the reason I bought this, straight up does not work on a Steam Deck with two gamepads. (Xbox)
Can we fix this please? I will update this review, if so. Until then, beware.

Very high effort for what it provides, great music and art! Played through the solo trials and its pretty cool. Challenging at times but not really difficult. There's a few quirks here regarding some of the mechanics (primarily the throwing) but I believe they will get fixed. Not super long, but the replay-ability comes from the multiplayer aspect.
This game primarily acts as a cat based party game where you run through the different challenges you are shown in the solo trials, through multiplayer. The game is very accessible and can be a bit repetitive, but I will def be coming back to this just because of how casual and fun it is.

Fun little party game with kitty meows and zoomies so instant win for me. There's a bunch of customization for the cats and I dig on the jazz themed music and stages. I often boot up various types of jazz over my morning coffee while I go through my Steam activity feed first thing in the morning so this game easily clicked with me.
The only problem comes from a very small player base. It's hard to have a party game without a party and currently not a lot of people are playing the game so it can sometimes be difficult to find players. There aren't a ton of game modes to it yet, but I think maybe if the game can get more attention they will continue to add more.
