A little rough around the edges, but a good way to catch N64 vibes. If you like what you see, you'll probably enjoy it. Just note that the levels aren't very big.

I'm not normally one for writing reviews, but I made an exception for this game. Sure, it may be a fair bit shorter than I'd like (that's to be expected for something only $2.99); but I think it's conducive of a game being good if you're left eager for more. I look forward to the future projects by Siactro, and will (with enough time) try a few of their other games. My only complaint: it really would be nice to have a crouch/sitting button. There are so many incredible environments that I'd love to screencapture with Kiwi sitting down, but am unable to (as the only time Kiwi sits is after running!). Overall, if you liked Banjo Kazooie or any of the other old N64/PS1 collect-a-thon games, you will enjoy this one!

I like how toree is about getting your ice cream back and kiwi doomsday is about stopping the collapse of reality

This game is absolutely adorable! For the price that this game is at it would be a sin not to pick this one up!

Super Kiwi 64 was a short palette cleansing game that harkened back to the days of N64 3D platformer. What I really liked about it was that it cut the fluff from games like that and it was to the point. Will say I had to squint when fighting the final boss cause that area was way too bright. Overall a solid game!

Really nice visually but with very basic and easy gameplay tacked on top

Nice little Nintendo 64 styled 3D Platformer. It's charming to relive this time again. Needed 2 hours to get it done

This game brings so much joy to me. Seeing people still make N64 like games is so cool. This game is SHORT but really good. There are many secrets, and challenges to face. This game is just so much fun to run around, testing out the controls/movement. Even though this game, in some parts, is rushed, it's still a really great game for the $2-3. A fun, quick, cheap game you should definitely check out, worth the hours!

Super Kiwi 64 is a game. It's a game. if you were expecting something mind-blowing, this isn't it, but it is an entertaining side-adventure to what will likely be a short yet uneventful afternoon/evening. You'll be reminded of a bygone era of gaming with its N64-era inspired graphics, the vaguely familiar characters with cartoonishly large eyes, and, of course, a soundtrack that has no right being as good as it is on an indie title such as this (for the most part). Super Kiwi 64 is a classic collect-a-thon, though it's very hands-off in its approach. Don't expect a guide or tutorial here. The icons are fairly straightforward, but some of the collectibles may require a bit of searching through the limited-in-scope levels. I beat the main game and the free update campaign in under an hour and a half, and there's a time trial mode tacked on too if that tickles your fancy. It's cute. It's a fun distraction. It's so free that it's basically a rounding error on your bank account. Throw the dev some pocket change to vote with your wallet for a small indie dev. You'll be pleasantly whelmed.

I think people give this 3d platformer a lot of slack because of how cheap it is. The "overwhelming positive" average does not reflect the quality of the game. This is kind of poor, mediocre at best. They were going for a Super Mario 64 style and in terms of controls, ok, it's fine enough, no problem there. I enjoyed the gliding. In terms of looks, it's lacking even though we're supposed to expect low-polygon assets. Textures are blurry, but that might be excused. Levels feel empty, limited in size and the level design is bare bones, except maybe level 5 and the DLC levels. We're nowhere near the design ingenuity and beauty of a Nintendo 64 3d platformer level. There's only one type of enemy and a lame one at that, some kind of mummy very slowly walking. There are no characters to meet except a dog in the hub and a parrot in the intro and conclusion. It takes very little time to complete, maybe 1h15 to 1h30 for the main Super Kiwi 64 and about about 45 minutes for the DLC levels which are more complex and beautiful. More if you try to collect everything and do the time trials. I'm rating this negatively although it's not horrible because it's so lackluster and to counter the positive ratings.
