Simply cannot recommend this game right now, Game is in pre alpha instead of early access. Game dev is sad because it didnt take off like the other games and now sets his discord mods to eliminate anyone who even thinks about talking negatively about the game. Just a questionable state right now. Anyway, do not buy the game, just yet....

tl;dr free phasmo-amogus game.... have 6 friends...? try... game no work because bug? be sadge and drop... ezpz... Longer Review: I was gifted this game by friends who were very excited to play-- and when the lobby worked, I was able to have a fun time playing with them! Aside from controls/visuals, the gameplay felt like a nice combination of phasmophobia and amongus, which is a great mix for multiplayer! just fyi game might be a bit confusing at first-- there are quite a bit of ropes to learn, haha That being said, the bugs were MAJOR with this game (we had 6 people, but our lobby wouidn't let us play LOL), and from what I could tell, there was some weird discord drama(?), game didn't pick up heat (more lobby issues), things snowballed, and so as you can read from the most recent announcement, the game was made free and the project was scrapped. It's so weird because it seems the bugs were less with actual gameplay, and more with... the queue? the multiplayer system? Which yes part of it is "not enough (non-toxic) players" but it was also just. broken. again; we had the necessary 6 people and it would BREAK. there were some other bugs, i.e. with the game ending, etc. and we had to reload a lot too. but otherwise, the core gameplay wasn't buggy??? the details of the game were pretty thought out??? a lot of unique investigation points??? pretty sick masks ?? I really am split on recommending it or not, but... since it is now free, you can try the game, and if it's still a buggy mess, drop it; no-one will force you to play it. if you've played phasmophobia but always wished YOU or your friends could be the ghost, or wish there was a more detailed and horror-themed amongus, this could have been the game of your dreams :") Dev team would have greatly benefited from having more dedicated Q&A cycles/alpha-beta testers before releasing (even in early access). I hope once they finish other projects they can come back to this game and just fix the queue system/multiplayer, lol; but probs won't happen :( I dead-ass think if it wasn't so glitched, with a tiny bit more publicity, it could have had a pretty decent take-off-- not as big, but similar to lethal company. I'll leave this as a recommended for now, because it's free and as the stalwart optimist I am, I will keep hoping the multiplayer system will be fixed. idk. now that it's free, I might ask some more friends to try it out; because before, I could not ask them to spend money on a game that wouldn't let them actually play the game. at this point, if they do fix the major issues, game should probs stay free. overall, truly quite a bit of a mess, mhm? shame, because there clearly was passion pushing the project

this game and its community fucking suck - bought bcs i liked the other reflect studios games - this was a disappointment - dont buy

Unfortunately, it seems that the game is completely dead, so if you have a full lobby of 6 people get it, otherwise, I don't think its even playable unless you maybe keep it matchmaking for days at a time. a shame.

Good idea, but needs at least the following improvements: - Polishing (graphics, UI/UX, bugs) - Make it easier to remember all the information (add tips, access to info in-game) - Add labels to mouse interaction options as icons are bad UX. - Add more maps. - Add proximity based name tags over players in-game. - New players don't know or remember to pick up starting items or how to use them. In my first game I forgot to pick up a radio and that ruined the game. - Make radio voice chat output also to proximity for people without radios!

The game itself is fun, looks and runs great. The downside is it takes FOREVER to get into a lobby. I don't know if its because its in early access and not a lot of people play or what, but I sat two hours today waiting for a lobby, and nothing. I think this game would benefit from a single player mode, where the demon is controlled by a bot. It would also give people a chance to play around and learn the controls before jumping into a multiplayer lobby.

Had hopes and promises to this game when i purchased a week after launch however game has been dead essentially since launch with only having a cult following with little to no advertising. The only reason i even heard of this game was because i mistakenly found it trying to search up another game. Please DO NOT PURCHASE unless you want to throw away your money into a loading screen simulator. I check in from time to time in hopes that maybe something has changed but unfortunately nothing. You may see a group form once in a blue moon but generally speaking, if you try today, its just you and maybe someone else in a lobby waiting for a full party. Maybe if the game becomes free to play or if you have a decent group of friends and want to try something out, then give it a go. *Purchase at your discretion. I wasted my money so you didn't have to but i hear the updates to the game have been a slight roller coaster but great since launch. Also check out Adam's previous works such as "Welcome to the game" I hear that its pretty good solo game but that's for you to decide.

"6 player horror game" forces 6 players each match. Add AI so I don't need to play with randoms since I don't have 6 friends and we waited a little bit to get into a match with no result. Will try it out again if this changes

Make sure you watch the video on how to play. This game is awesome once you get the hang of it. I recommend getting a private lobby group together to play for fun!

I was really enjoying this game but sadly the developer is self-destructive. There are not enough players to play solo so we networked and created a group of friends to play together. However, because solo queues could not get enough games the developer is talking about removing friend lobbies or cutting them down to half size. We of course spoke out against this but it was met with conversations being deleted and shut down and developer acting like we were threatening him because we told him the truth that we are not going to play if we can't play in lobbies. So anyway, things came to a head and a huge argument on discord and the dev literally told people to uninstall and refund the game. Sadly the thread was deleted so I can't prove this, but this was the final straw for me. I can't tolerate this. This review was edited from positive to negative because of this. Can't play solo, and get punished for networking and asking friends to play with you. I'm out.
