I'm totally pro-depth over visuals in wargames, but I struggle to find either here.

If you liked Armored Brigade 1 but had problems in navigating the battlefield and mantaining situational awareness, this is the game for you. Personally I tried to like the first installment but being unable to quickly visualize the topography of the terrain made it hard to plan effective unit movements. This new version solves this one big problem I had. Other than that, the game is very similar to the first installment except here they are planning to expand it with new features. If you like a more in-depth strategy game that requires detailed planning this is the game for you.

gonna be hard to justify this 40 bucks tp the wife... BUT IM GONNA lol
so my only complaint is the grid movement, so u cant move ANYWHERE but its close enough not to be too bothersome. i do feel weird paying 40 bucks for a little over a gig of content, but somehow it just works. def a niche game but if its you its you. if ur on the fence i hope this helps. its exactly what u think itll be. basically a grand scale real time combat mission "yes u can do turn based instead" with in a way worse graphics but in a way better as well, hard to explain, but its good enough considering the scale. i honestly kiinda dig the cartoony look. its clean. but yea, thats my opinion. hope i helped.

Bought this game based on extensive reviews lauding how great it was. Tactically its not too shabby and the flow of battles unwind rather realistically
For anyone who's played the Combat Mission series, you're gonna probably be disappointed with this game as the graphics pale in comparison to it though a good dose of re-shade can slightly improve matters. I played this for 7 hours wanting with all my heart to like it but instead found it less enjoyable than expected.
It's impossible to precisely place units as the cursor will only let you place them several yards away from where you want the unit to go. The game crashed multiple times on me for no apparent reason.
It would be nice if the sounds of enemy gunfire originated from their actual location but oft times seems to be coming from somewhere else on the map sometimes even behind your units when in actuality they're located to the front of your guys. Even with a sound mod the small arms don't have that sharp crisp report that would level up the immersion value.
The helicopter movement is a bit weird with the whole pre selected zone system. Would've been nicer to have direct control over them at all times like you do with ground units.
This game could be really great with a few tweaks by the Devs and probably better to wait for a sale as the 39 dollar asking price seems a bit steep.
I will patiently wait for more updates and workshop content as I believe the Devs are on to something with this game/milsim. Lots of potential.
