Really fun, I'd say it's perfect for tower defense enthusiasts who are looking for a more advanced tower defense game. My one complaint is that I would have preferred more story content. But it is a tower defense game so I suppose it's nice that it has a story at all.

Other negative reviews have pointed out the problems so there's no need for depth. - There's really no tower to influence the economy. Later there is a farm, but basically it's useless and takes up too much real estate - Constant damage being done to your towers is irritating - Taxing the player for mazing with towers is nonsense. Sure, you can build cheap walls to maze, but now tower LOS is hindered. Why are you punishing the player for building more towers? It's . . . a tower defense game. Good lord. Dev is like, "Here's my tower defense game . . . now ration your towers." - Later maps are complicated. Only determined autists will spend the time to figure out the build order - Artifacts, or "tower boosts" are apparently limited to 3 total, and if I understand it correctly, only work 10% of the time? I can't find a screen where I can see the artifact in the tower. Is it auto-slotted? Who knows. Is there an artifact I can eventually get where the tower awards +20% credits on kill? That's the only artifact I'm interested in. All this damage being done to my towers and not enough money coming in to build . . . wouldn't matter anyway since the more I build, the more I'm taxed. Whatever. - Difficulty setting "Medium" must be a funny joke Dev could seriously shave off 25% of the towers available, implement a tower that influences the economy by receiving bonus credits for kills within a perimeter like Defense Grid, and have a game that is more fun. There is a reason Defense Grid is still GOAT . . . and no TD dev apparently has any idea as to why. Unreal. Here's to hoping someone via WeMod will make this game fun.

It's fun, I'm generally enjoying it, but the achievements are...weirdly front-loaded. You'll have almost all of them within the first few levels. That's not a terrible thing, but it's weird. I also found the story annoying and quasi-incomprehensible, but you don't come to a tower defense game for the story. You come for the tower defense. And the tower defense is good. So it gets a thumbs up.
