Good game but fix the bug sometime after shop, wave stucking. and recommend more passive skill , and chance drop item (tower can equid) and speed go to x8 will be smooth alot

if several things get fixed it would be ok. random map gen fails. entirely fail stuck on load screen or failure to generate a usable map. IE won't allow anything to be placed or has section(s) completely cut off leaving no usable space. even after paying for targeting, it also fails and turrets ignore it. turret targeting in general blows as they'll ignore mobs letting them reach the core. no way to actually build a deck despite it seemingly to be card based. edit, still has the same issues as i originally posted. turret targeting still ignores mobs so it's not even using a basic 'closest to home' targeting. extras such as slow/burn/large are so marginal as to only serve to block better buff cards so out of the tech tree that['s three useless avenues. map generation is slightly less buggy as originally posted but still has the same ones.

A lot of reviews are well out of date by now. The developer has added in speed options as one notable improvement that a lot of people were complaining about. Personally I think it's a neat albeit simple tower defense game. Is progression slow and grindy? Yes, absolutely. Are the randomly generated maps sometimes horribly unfair? Of course, that's bound to happen. Nevertheless it's not breaking the bank and, for the cost, it's a great showing in my opinion that will keep you occupied for a while just to see what the different towers have to offer. Beyond that though? Well, don't expect this to keep you hooked in the long run.

For the life of me, I don't know I missed this game when it first came out, as I am really into Tower Defense games. As it turns out, fortunately I have missed most of the speed issues (since corrected) people seem to have had with this game. That being said I am currently having a terrific time with mazing, tower selection and placement in what is not an easy game. You will have to think as you progress through the difficulty levels. There is a bit of grinding, but is not too onerous as it helps you work out tactics and you gain levelling points. Having fun and really looking forward to the future levels and upgrades.

I am torn on how to vote for this game, the concept is fun, the art is nice, but the game needs some updates/adjustments to make it a smoother / more replayable experience. For a quick little game it is alright though. Things I would love to see changed/added: - More upgrades in the skill tree - The RNG maps can really screw you over and re-rolling for a new map takes too long - Option for larger map sizes

An interesting take on TD with cards. However I cannot recommend the game, since it's not possible to speed up waves to some sane speed (you can speed up to x2, but it's sluggish). As it is now - there is too much downtime between waves, which drastically lowers the replayability. If I were able to speed up the waves to lets say x8 speed - that would make the game way more fun. EDIT: There are still couple of problems with the game (description not fitting in the space of an item or no indicator of how many waves are left etc) but after devs added the 4x speed the game is playable, so I'm changing the review to positive.

Way too much grind. And the game has some major bugs. Can randomly crash, can create multiple windows when you only have one instance of the game running, and has very poor optimization which causes the game to eventually freeze.

Giving this game a recommend because how creative it is and how fast the devs responded to feedback, they added a patch for 4x game speed on day 1 which is pretty impressive. HOWEVER that said, this game is no where near complete and should be in early access at best, game is severely lacking in content such as: 1) Permanent upgrades are a joke, there are only 18 upgrades to unlock and each one costs a buttload to extend the grind. IMO progression mechanic is the most important part of a roguelike, no one wants to grind for hours just to make 1 upgrade. Highly recommend adding A LOT more cheaper (and weaker) passive upgrade options such as increased tower damage etc. 2) Map needs way more content in terms of variety, the boardgame like design is being wasted here because every tile is the same, I recommend adding more interesting tiles you can unlock such as hills with +1 range ((like Rogue Tower) to add more variety to each game, and maybe a mining node that gives you gold if you build on it. 3) Need a lot of interesting buff cards instead of the standard boring +dmg/+range/+speed, right now every game has the same build, how about a card that gives towers random chance to create a chain lightning on hit to encourage purely attack builds? Anyways I'll probably come back to this game after way more development, refunded for now.

Has a fan of Roguelike and tower defense, i have to say this one mix them beautifuly. The pathing is really fun. After playing some more : There is WAY TO MUCH farming to unlock new tower, etc. The game has a nice base, but still need some work imo.

At first glance the game seems fairly fun. But unfortunately I only felt frustrated. RNG as to where the enemy spawns are positioned is pretty important, perhaps too important. Outside that the gameplay is alright. Enemies move pretty slowly and the 2x speed isn't quite enough tbh. I just feel a bit let down overall. There are better tower defence games of this genre with better gimmicks that are worth spending money on. The game also "loads". Not being funny but while my PC isn't a monster I'm not ashamed enough to admit I spent more on it than some people do on a deposit for a car. This game, with these graphics etc, should not take more than a fraction of a second to load. I'm left baffled by the load time for this, wondering if its just a timed screen rather than an actual load window. I wouldn't have normally mentioned that at all, it is just incredibly baffling to me.
