Great game ! If you like platformer and/or challenging game you will love Down n’ Up. It was fun, but also frustrating because it was a little difficult for me, I struggled a lot on « Tempo Cliff », but I couldn’t stop trying again. The game is simple, you have to climb to the top, and trying not to fall… The retro aesthetic is pretty, the gameplay is fun. I already played the game for hours so it’s cheap. I definitely recommend Down n’ Up. Je recommande totalement Down n’ Up.

Down n' Up is a 'foddyian' style platformer that plays like Mighty Fling meets Stick With It. Similar to games in the genre, it aims to be relentless and unforgiving in difficulty. To that difficulty, the game is not strikingly hard in its platforming yet relies on typical trial and error expected of similar games. As a fan of the genre, I can definitely commend this game as it plays as a solid entry game to the series for fans of unrelenting platformers. Huge fan of the artistic direction that has been retro stylised, which coincides with some platforming equally reminiscent of the time. I must, give large props to dotsquare who have acknowledged all of my reviews and have shown severe dedication to fixing bugs. Each gameplay issue that I noted - including a walk of shame, and mechanic issues were resolved THE NEXT DAY with much needed quality of life hotfixes. Further, dotsquare have created an open forum for bugfixing and are obviously trying to make the game as great of an experience as possible. Truly, if only we had move devs like this!
