This is a pretty decent little game.. :) At first after I purchased I couldn't get it to launch... But for a separate reason I needed to uninstall & reinstall Steam & it launched after that.. :)

我觉得很好玩啊,没那么差。有主线剧情,也在弥补一些遗憾。探险抽盲盒。但就是厨艺战跑堂站奖励太差了。

This game is my childhood memory!! At that time it was a single-player game, well now it is still. But i'm glad to see it on steam, at least i could find it, store it at a place i can easily access and share it with my other friends, to pull back my cozy feelings about the sword and fairy and paladin series games. I know every single characters in this game and their personalities, they are like old friends to me. I will never get bored playing such game, although it is quite easy and does not require any skills. The story of Paladin ended, but i know their story will continue somewhere else.

This has been on my wishlist for quite a while so I decided to pick it up during the steam sale. I loved it! Really surprised it has such mixed reviews. I loved the gameplay loop and the cute story along the way, it was a great way to wind down before bed every night <3. Also, I played it entirely on steamdeck using the touchscreen and it worked great!

My opinion on the game is based on no experience with the source material or other games in the series. I like the game a lot though you're sort of thrown into the fire after a very brief tutorial. Things people say are like a mobile game I can see, but to a simulation/management game player like myself seem just part of the genre. Maybe those people haven't played many games of this genre.
Some things I didn't immediately realize to help players. To set "auto" for running the work day you have to set a staff member to manager. You still have to manually tap/click tips to collect those. When it says you can now recruit you have to go to the lounge (i think its called) and speak to that npc and then also send a staff member to town to hire recruits. And don't forget to do the various rooms in the inn for training and cleaning. You can buy materials in town when low and also work a farm to grow mats. These are all easy to miss because they have no tutorial.
I'm happy with my purchase and think most negative reviews are due to expectations based on previous games rather than what this game clearly is based on the store page.

Extremely boring and repetitive, devs also removed the Exploration feature from Sword and Fairy Inn 1. From repetitive dating event dialogue, lack of actual restaurant management features, to the intentional slow pace of event progression to drag out the game (a single short story event gets broken up into a few lines of dialogue per day). This has all the skeleton and skins of a restaurant simulation game with no soul. I played 26 hours and just couldn't bring myself to finish the game cuz its so fking boring.

I am probably going to finish this game though I don't recommend it. I am merely doing it to honor the classic Sword and Fairy Inn (original).
This one is more like an idle clicker mobile games. The story line is boring. Many mechanics and features also feels early access. I am a fan of Softstar as they had so many classics, but this is just not up to standard. It feels like they are just making money off the lore. I sad.

100% mobile game ported to PC.
Not that its bad, the characters are cute and all, but it just feels very mobile like, so probably not for everyone
